Last year for Christmas when we finally got down to just our little family of four, we were all around the tree opening our gifts and having a wonderful moment. All of a sudden my son stands up, reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small box. On his own he had gone out and bought me a simple little silver cross (James Avery) necklace. I absolutely love it, and have only taken it off once since Christmas Eve.....................

As the wings became dry, I would let them sit on my finger, they would eventually take their stilted maiden flights and return back to me...they became used to my smell I guess.
As they grew stronger, they would flit about the trellis, the apple trees, the sky...to my surprise watch them land on my shoulder or arm. Like friends.

Now, every once in a great while, one will still perch itself on me. A absolute delight.)

Upgrading from 87 year old 1500 sq ft house to a 13 year old 2500 sq ft Cape Cod style house that is out in the country and sits on my family farm of 80 acres. We wanted to keep the house in the family because noone but a member of my family has lived on the farm since we bought it 5 generations ago. So happy I get to keep it in the family I can't even tell you!
