my first wife was notorious for doing ditzy things...
the first thing that comes to mind is when she watered a house plant that was hanging from the ceiling in a macrame hanger...
she overwatered the plant and it spilled out down onto and into the TV set that was sitting directly beneath it...
When she later turned on the TV, it exploded on her...

I wanted to be a radio disc jockey. When I was 10, I tore apart an old stereo, made a homemade microphone and made it so I could play records and mix my voice in it. And I was an announcer for a while in the 80's.

I love my work and it has been rewarding in many ways but it has not let me explore my creative side. I would definitely gone into photography. Not sure what type. Possiblu photojournalism. I still plan on doing photography when I finish this career. Already looking into classes.
If you could, would you choose to not work and stay home all day doing nothing or whatever you pleased? What would that activity be?
I actually would love to not be in the field that I am in, but it pays the bills. If I had my choice, I would own a farm or ranch that was a haven for abused and injured animals. It would also serve as a foster home for animals that are waiting adoption into loving homes.

Biking uncontrolled into a busy intersection-just to catch up with a friend of mine that was speeding ahead of me. The bikes wheels seized up on something in the road-a branch or something and I went flying right over the handlebars and landed on my back-and didn't break a bone or suffered anything beyond bruises. How I managed that one is beyond me.

Have you ever had a brush with death?
Yeah. On a section of road just north of where we used to live, there were a bunch of small hills. I was driving on the road one November evening; the humidity caused my windshield to fog up, and the "defogger" just made it worse. I could no longer see the road, and could not tell if I was still even in my lane. (If I had gone to the right, I'd have fallen off into a ditch.) Just then, over one of the hills, came one of those great big trucks (what the heck HE was doing on that road, I'll never know). I had no time to react, and neither would he have, so if I had not been in my lane after all, I would not be typing this message.
That's the closest I've come. The second-closest was when I was home sick, turned on C-Span, and witnessed part of a Ted Kennedy speech.
There was one OTHER time though. I was in college, in the dormitory, and I had just got out of the shower and was brushing my hair. Next to me, there was a guy in a black cape carrying a sickle, and HE was brushing his teeth. So I guess I had a brush with Death then as well.

Yes I joined a book club on another forum and some of the members there turned me onto James Patterson. I was never a fiction reader but his good work has changed that it would seem. When the Wind Blows was my first. I also read the Bible. One of the best reads.

I'm not sure ... let's see, as a kid I used to run along side moving trains and jump on for a ride, then when I got bored, I'd jump back off.
I also have been a pedestrian in many different manic traffic situations in many different countries.
I also played in the waves at Cabo even though the sign said, "Warning: Accident or Death WILL occur"
rode my three wheeler way too fast on way too many obstacle courses
jumped out of a couple of planes
learned how to drive in Houston
I'm sure there are many, many more I'm leaving out. :))
