Only democrats think that..

Why do democrats feel the need to put God in a small box

Dr. Funkenstein

I don't know of any Democrats who put God in a small box, but I think if they tried they'd fail.

If you could do either of the following, which would you pick...

1. Fly to the moon
2. Have sex in an anti-gravity chamber

I don't like the toilet arrangements on those shuttles, and sex in an anti-gravity chamber just doesn't sound all that enjoyable.

If the cats know that they'll be able to go outside on a regular basis, then they'll wait to be let out, so you don't really need a cat box.

I put in a cat door so that the cats can go in and out of their own accord, saving me the trouble of making sure they got out when they needed to. Putting in a cat door isn't difficult.

Even if you don't put in a cat door, if you let your cats out regularly (several times a day), put the cat box outside for the first few weeks. After a short while, the cats will get the idea, and you can eventually get rid of the cat box. They'll go in the bushes, flower beds and lawn.

I've been a Carlin fan, since I was about 13 and Dad let me sit up with him late one night and watch him on HBO. Mom would come in the living room every few minutes..."David, he doesn't need to be hearing this, it'll corrupt him" then she'd sit down, watch, laugh, and say "I don't understand why he has to be so vulgar, that's not funny" Then she'd laugh at another joke and go on her way. :))

You like Carlin?

Not me (not yet), but my FIL is a retired Asst. Fire Chief of our city. He used to inspect the yearly city fireworks display. ONe year the company in charge of putting the show on, had a shell explode 10 feet over everyone's head. No one was injured, but we all thought at the time, everyone standing around the setup was killed. Very scary moment.

Do you hand hold the roman candles?

I registered 38 years ago, just after Nixon signed the 26th amendment lowering the voting age to 18.

BTW, my own first experience with politics was in 1960, when I wore one of my parents' Nixon buttons to school one day.

I was attending a Catholic school in a (at the time) heavily Democratic state, so it shouldn't surprise anybody that I got beat up at recess.
