The simple answer is the nucleolus, but in eukaryotes the protiens needed for constructing ribosomes are made in the cytoplasm, then imported into the nucleolus.

Wife and kids aside...
I don't really have much to be proud of. By the grace of God am I able to stay afloat spiritually, financially and physically. I don't attribute it to myself, but most likely it is my wife's faith and righteousness that has prompted God to bless us so much with success and stability. I am blessed to just be a part of it.

Well, Cuba(n) gets on my nerves politically, but he knows how to build a basketball team (give them deep pockets and give the coach the power he needs).
Avery is still my favorite. We'll have to see how Carlisle does this season... Hopefully there's not too long of a break-in period, or else playoffs may be a pipe dream.
The Mavs are the Mavs. My favorite TX team, but I still love the Jazz first and foremost. Of course I can't catch many of their games.

If you want to retire in the next 5 years, steer clear of gold and the market. If you are 20+ years out, all bets are off, historically the market will be up, but with our new Communist in Chief, who knows if we'll even HAVE a market in 20 years.
