Joey, if the sky is blue and the grass is green why do midgets seem to be the latest fashion accessory? Seriously, everyone who's anyone in Hollywood seems to have one.

Patience young padawan, you were showing to be registered for 38.7 hours, thus 1 post in that time period would return a 0.62 post per day average.
You now have 3 posts and show a total of 47.8 hours since registration, so your current average is 1.51 posts per day.

that's wonderful!!!
I casually met my husband in May, and I had no idea that I would ever even see him again. This was right before I graduated from high school, so I just went about enjoying my summer before I'd go to college. I didn't realize that he spent the summer looking for me. He found me Labor Day Weekend....that's when we hit it off. I was trying to fix him up w/ my best friend, and he finally came out and said, "I don't want her...I want you." :)) oh. ok. By October we were engaged, but we did not get married until the following September. He told me that he could marry me either before summer or after summer, but not during summer b/c well, his life was hay, and you gotta make hay while the sun shines. My mom had a huge trip planned to the Orient for that Spring, so she asked if we would wait until after summer....sure. we picked the second Saturday in Sept. The 11th. So yeah, this Sept 11 will be my 25th anniversary.
When we got married, he was 20; I was 19.

Interesting.
My Dad collapsed the day of our wedding and we got to spend some time with him in the emergency room, but he wouldn't let us stay with him very long. Fortunately everything cleared up and he had somebody drive him to the reception when they released him from the hospital.

KING ARTHUR:
Whoa there!
[clop clop clop]
SOLDIER #1:
Halt! Who goes there?
ARTHUR:
It is I, Arthur, son of Uther Pendragon, from the castle of Camelot. King of the Britons, defeater of the Saxons, Sovereign of all England!
SOLDIER #1:
Pull the other one!
ARTHUR:
I am,... and this is my trusty servant Patsy.
We have ridden the length and breadth of the land in search of knights who will join me in my court at Camelot. I must speak with your lord and master.
SOLDIER #1:
What? Ridden on a horse?
ARTHUR:
Yes!
SOLDIER #1:
You're using coconuts!
ARTHUR:
What?
SOLDIER #1:
You've got two empty halves of coconut and you're bangin' 'em together.
ARTHUR:
So? We have ridden since the snows of winter covered this land, through the kingdom of Mercia, through--
SOLDIER #1:
Where'd you get the coconuts?
ARTHUR:
We found them.
SOLDIER #1:
Found them? In Mercia? The coconut's tropical!
ARTHUR:
What do you mean?
SOLDIER #1:
Well, this is a temperate zone.
ARTHUR:
The swallow may fly south with the sun or the house martin or the plover may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land?
SOLDIER #1:
Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?
ARTHUR:
Not at all. They could be carried.
SOLDIER #1:
What? A swallow carrying a coconut?
ARTHUR:
It could grip it by the husk!
SOLDIER #1:
It's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut.
ARTHUR:
Well, it doesn't matter. Will you go and tell your master that Arthur from the Court of Camelot is here?
SOLDIER #1:
Listen. In order to maintain air-speed velocity, a swallow needs to beat its wings forty-three times every second, right?
ARTHUR:
Please!
SOLDIER #1:
Am I right?
ARTHUR:
I'm not interested!
SOLDIER #2:
It could be carried by an African swallow!
SOLDIER #1:
Oh, yeah, an African swallow maybe, but not a European swallow. That's my point.
SOLDIER #2:
Oh, yeah, I agree with that.
ARTHUR:
Will you ask your master if he wants to join my court at Camelot?!
SOLDIER #1:
But then of course a-- African swallows are non-migratory.
SOLDIER #2:
Oh, yeah.
SOLDIER #1:
So, they couldn't bring a coconut back anyway.
[clop clop clop]
SOLDIER #2:
Wait a minute! Supposing two swallows carried it together?
SOLDIER #1:
No, they'd have to have it on a line.
SOLDIER #2:
Well, simple! They'd just use a strand of creeper!
SOLDIER #1:
What, held under the dorsal guiding feathers?
SOLDIER #2:
Well, why not?

If you believe in the literal Creation: the chicken.
If you believe in Evolution: the ooze that eventually evolved into the chicken, but essentially the chicken.
If you believe that Creation occurred via Evolution: still the chicken.
If you are ordering at Denny's: the egg (Chicken has to spend 4 minutes in the deep fryer, and eggs are done in 1.)

nope, I need the caffeine jolt in the morning. I don't do coffee....
I used to be literally addicted to Dr Pepper, and I am guessing it was the caffeine. In H.S. I had to have 3 or 4 DP's a day. But one day I decided to not drink any more caffeine and I haven't had one since. Now if anything I drink hgas caffeine in it I can taste it and it makes me sick. I am pretty certain that is why my migraines went down from 1 a day to about 1 per month. Now, as an adult I rarely have migraines anymore. Maybe 1 or 2 per year.

Yes, and we may even get to see Kyle Orton in action... I think he may be the Bears own version of Tony Romo who rode the bench watching for 4 years.

OK, Joey, I am taking Chicago in my NFL picks for the week. I think Favre is due for a bad game, and I'd like it to be this week. Would you please tell your bears to do it for me?? ;)

I think Griese only did so-so, which is leaps and bounds ahead of what Grossman was doing...
I'd really like to see Kyle Orton out there, he's young and good, and just needs some more experience.

That depends on when you start counting.
If you begin with the OP, then the 1000th reply would have to the 1001st post in the thread.
