Walgreen's Cafe Lying Bastard

Years ago when the North Valley Mall was still a Mall, there was a Walgreen's that had an Attached Restaurant next to it and One Time my Mom, Sister-in-Law and I were eating there and I was Complaining about not getting this Hot Wheel I wanted, and the guy who was Serving us, Flirting with my Sister-in-Law, Thinking I was her Kid, Offered to buy it for me if I could Eat some amount of Tacos, 4 or 6, I don't remember now... I did, and he Hedged and said the Next Time we came in he would Buy it for me... Never Happened... If I ever Meet him, I'll Sock him in his Lying Mouth...

And that Incident Happened 30 Years ago... Obsessive?... And then some.

Answers called out ranged from 20g to 500g.
The lecturer replied, "The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long you try to hold it.
If I hold it for a minute, that's not a problem.
If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my right arm.
If I hold it for a day, you'll have to call an ambulance.
In each case, it's the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes."

He continued, "And that's the way it is with stress management. If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, as the burden becomes increasingly heavy, we won't be able to carry on. "
"As with the glass of water, you have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again.
When we're refreshed, we can carry on with the burden."

"So, before you return home tonight, put the burden of work down. Don't carry it home. You can pick it up tomorrow.
Whatever burdens you're carrying now, let them down for a moment if you can."
So, my friend, Put down anything that may be a burden to you right now.
Don't pick it up again until after you've rested a while.

Here are some great ways of dealing with the burdens of life:
* Accept that some days you're the pigeon,
and some days you're the statue.
* Always keep your words soft and sweet,
just in case you have to eat them.
* Always read stuff that will make you look good
if you die in the middle of it.
* Drive carefully. It's not only cars that can be recalled by their maker.
* If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

She loved presents and she loved watching people open presents. She would take wrapping paper and make a "present"...there would be nothing inside, but she loved doing it and then watching the person unwrap it. I usually opened them, b/c that is what she wanted....but I did manage to save one unopened after all these years. I love that present. One of the best I ever got....
and now in a few short days, my little girl will be married. and off to fiji for her honeymoon.
very bittersweet.
no internet where she is going.
no telephone except for emergencies.
What am I going to do????
we talk EVERY day!!
I hope I make it......

I did actually... For the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.. Last weekend.. Those of us in the Rodeo Association wore our pink shirts... I only walked for a couple hours as I had to work the night before..

Saturday night we went to a graduation party and I saw many of my friends there. had a great time.
Sunday my husband and I went to see Indiana Jones and out to eat together. It was nice.

The action was intense but I was laughing at the ending...in fact, I said really loudly Oh No way and Mr. Jet shushed me :))

It felt like they cut a lot of parts out..it didn't flow as well as the original.

Dear Tech support,
Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.
In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1.
Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?

First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.
Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.
But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta.
Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.) Also do not attempt to reinstall Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.
In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

been internet shopping and now waiting on both my husband and my son...we're heading into the big city....to go to Spec's. :)

Spec's is a huge liquor store in Downtown Houston w/ lots of smaller locations all over the city. Besides alcohol though, they also have great cracker, cheese, meats, chocolate, pepper, hot sauce assortments....it's a lot of fun.
We are having a low key party this weekend for all our friends who did not get invited to our daughter's wedding. (since the wedding was small)
Gonna have fajitas and all the fixins....plus a margarita machine.
So we have to go get some things for the party.
