It's always the milk man, you know. Ron Paul delivered babies, he might have been delivering milk too so he can drum up some business. Those lonely housewives did love on the milk man.

Of course, nobody delivers milk anymore but seeing as how Ron Paul is older than the invention of the home refrigerator, he could have been the milk man.

I don't think that Paul has voted once to a.) cut defense, or b.) to increase federal funding of health care or education. If he has what you claim, then post a link to the evidence or shut your pie-hole.

Then stop smoking that and pass it over this way. :D

Plus, I am not a Paulbot. I do actually think for myself. If he fails to clearly state and clear up any misunderstandings on his views about Defense (meaning plans to maintain the strongest, best trained, best equipped, most organized military in the world), then I probably will not vote for him in the Primaries.

However, I heartily believe that he will and that he will surprise alot of you. He was a flight surgeon in the Air Force and then the Air National Guard. President Reagan said the following of Paul: “Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first. We need to keep him fighting for our country.”

Now do you know better than President Ronald Reagan???!!!

He said he wanted to cut defense for health care and education.

He said, in a debate, that all the money spent on Iraq and other far-flung stretching thin our military all over the world could be saved, i.e. not spent on unnecessary wars and unnecessary military bases not on our own soil. The savings (in tax dollars) then could be spent on local issues, locally -- as they would not have been swooped up by the IRS (which he plans on 86ing). He has never once voted for expanding federal spending. He has never once voted for federal monies for education. He has never once voted for federal funding of health care, most recently he voted against GW Bush's Johnsonian New Dealesqe Prescription Drug plan. Oh, but you can magically take a statement in a debate and twist it to mean something that it does not and that is very obviously against the historical record of his actual votes. Go back to another talking point there Paulophobe.

Anyway this is supposed to be a fun thread. Thus my opening with "no chocolate milk on the Constitution." Chill in your irrational hatred and have a little fun, gosh.

PAUL: The president ran on a program of a humble foreign policy, no nation-building and no policing of the world, and he changed his tune.

And now we are fighting a war. And our foreign operations around the world to maintain our empire is now approaching $1 trillion a year. That's where the money is going and that's where it has to be cut so we can take care of education and medical cares that are needed here in this country.

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0706/05/se.01.html

I did not deny that he said the following: "And now we are fighting a war. And our foreign operations around the world to maintain our empire is now approaching $1 trillion a year. That's where the money is going and that's where it has to be cut so we can take care of education and medical cares that are needed here in this country."

But if you were actually look at his record and his many, many publicly stated views; you would find that the clearly seen underlying meaning is that all that money would not have been collected from our paychecks in federal taxes and then spent on imperialism. The money could have remained in the care of us taxpayers to then spend on education or health care, or locally collected in taxes to address the same. Paul is against big gubmit, period. He does not, has not, will not vote to expand the gubmit or to spend federal funds on education or to spend federal funds on education.

You have one quote, taken out of context. I have his long record of defending the Constitution and reeling in gubmit spending through his votes anyway. Look at his voting record, DUH. Think about it, DUH.

Check this link=>LIBERTY AMENDMENT (http://www.libertyamendment.org/), then scan down to the second bullet under the heading "Current Status." DUH.

Actually you are all wrong, Ron Paul voted to cut military spending and educational spending in order to support his platform of increased spending on chocolate chip cookie refineries. You see the Paul really knows his economics and apparently there has been a recent surplus in milk. So Paul, being the advocate for milk consumption, has devised a plan to rid the supermarket shelves of this milk surplus. In turn, the Pauls stratagy is to rid the world of terrorism by providing the terror suspects with plenty of milk and cookies, making them very very sleepy. This will allow our troops to fire bomb their caves and villages with little to no resistance, and our troops overseas can come home. Misunderstood is the Pauls statements of previous debates. He didn't mean that the terrorism on 9/11 was caused by America's forign policy. He ment that the terrorist, because of America's domestic policy on milk and cookies really disappointed the terrorist and that's why they attacked us. This bold new policy proposed by Ron Paul will take a huge leap of faith by Nabisco and Pet, cookie conglomerates and dairy farmers across the nation.

Wait a minute...could it be?...nah can't be...it sounds like Paul is manipulating his foriegn policy not for the safety of We the People...but...I can't believe this...not Paul!...BIG BUSINESS!!!

Ron Paul knows too much about Chocolate Milk. He knows the Nestle secret of WWII.

You see, in the 1930's the Swiss company Nestle had engineered a special breed of cow, a Chocolate Cow, that when milked would produce a superior chocolate milk to any other chocolate milk available.

When WWII broke out, officials at the Nestle Company feared that Germans would invade, and their precious Chocolate Cows would become German Chocolate Cows. To defend this secret from falling into Nazi hands the Nestle company called the one company which could defend the cows.

The cows were shipped to a company in Pennsylvania for safekeeping, Hershey, Pennsylvania to be precise and the payment to the Hershey company was to keep a breeding stock of these Chocolate Cows for themselves.

Only insiders deep inside Hershey and Nestle know of this secret, but Ron Paul has found it out and threatens to spill the milk story unless Hershey and Nestle get him elected President.

You have to keep this secret though. I don't want to be accused of cow tipping.

His stated view from his website is:
Real conservatives have always supported low taxes and low spending.

But today, too many politicians and lobbyists are spending America into ruin. We are nine trillion dollars in debt as a nation. Our mounting government debt endangers the financial future of our children and grandchildren. If we don’t cut spending now, higher taxes and economic disaster will be in their future — and yours.

In addition, the Federal Reserve, our central bank, fosters runaway debt by increasing the money supply — making each dollar in your pocket worth less. The Fed is a private bank run by unelected officials who are not required to be open or accountable to “we the people.”

Worse, our economy and our very independence as a nation is increasingly in the hands of foreign governments such as China and Saudi Arabia, because their central banks also finance our runaway spending.

We cannot continue to allow private banks, wasteful agencies, lobbyists, corporations on welfare, and governments collecting foreign aid to dictate the size of our ballooning budget. We need a new method to prioritize our spending. It’s called the Constitution of the United States.

Requesting earmarks, while stating that you are against them does seem to be somewhat disingenuous. Does his voting record on the earmarks show him voting for the bills which contain them or against the bills? There are 65 pages of other requested earmarks included in that PDF file. I imagine it is part of the political landscape to request monies for your district, or else how could he ever get re-elected/have any semblance of power to further his other worthwhile goals of shrinking government?

I guess what is most important is do you believe -- from his voting record, from his unwavering call for the Constitution to be once again followed, and from his other staunch conservative positions -- he will earnestly try his hardest to abolish the IRS, repeal the 16th Amendment, change how government operates, etc? If so, you understand that partisan politics is a game that is played "dirty." Sometimes, to manage the system/stay afloat politically, one must also play "dirty."

I will watch his campaign, to be sure. I am not a blind follower of Paul. I like most all of his stances on the issues. They are genuinely conservative in my book. One of my concerns is his failure to make clear his stance on Defense.

I agree strongly that we should move back to a non-interventionist foreign policy. But, in no way should we isolate ourselves or close our eyes to possible danger/s. We should remove ourselves from the policy of interventionism after we settle the dust somewhat in Iraq and finally put them on their own to sink or swim. We should remove our Military presence from Saudi Arabia and other M.E. countries and Muslim nations; leaving a strong structure of intelligence agents/counter espionage agents and a contingent of spec-op units assigned to monitor the areas for terror cells bent on our destruction and when appropriate/feasible, take those bastards out. And most importantly, we must maintain the strongest, best equipped, most highly trained, and most technologically advanced military force in the world to defend and repeal any threat to our country or our sovereignty as a nation. Those are the things which he needs to be in favor of, to be able to be "non-interventionist" while maintaining a proper defense of our country.

The pork/earmark issue is small in comparison to the above issue -- like I wrote about the earmark requests, its all politics. The defense of our nation is not mere politics, but survival. Paul is a Veteran of the US Air Force and Air National Guard, I know that he will not be weak on defense, I just wish he would straighten out all of the talk and elucidate his stance on the issue.

Also, you bring up a question; have the letters yet been validated if he in fact has no record of even placing the earmarks in the alleged bills?

Politics is a dirty game, if that is all that his opponents can come up with, then yes, VERY minor.

Now, to my question: Have those letters been validated as coming from Paul or could they be forgeries? Any evidence besides the pdf file? Remember GW Bush's forged documents that got Dan Blather fired? Remember the false report of korans being flushed at Gitmo? Of course this is about Paul, so it must be true?

So Divecon, are you going to hold your candidate to the same standard as Dr. Paul? Yes or No? "Duncan Hunter supporter" just so you know, he released his record on pork too. Feel free to research it.

I know you honestly don't give a **** about Dr. Paul and so you, and the others, have resorted to some AP article to come up with material to attack Paul on since you are too lazy to look up his record on your own. If any of you actually cared about his record you would have known YEARS ago he's put his own districts projects in bills. I disagree with him doing it, but I understand why he does it and he explains why he does. He isn't hiding behind anything.

I do not know if they are forgeries. Do you know if they are genuine? If they are widespread more than this forum and are not authentic, then I am sure he will address the issue. He also should if they are authentic.

Fair enough. I would not wish to force my views or a candidate that you cannot support on you. At the same time, how about not trying to force my views to change. I am as capable of making an informed decision as you are, I can assure you.

He actually served in the Military. The Active Military, viz the Air Force, then additional service in the Air National Guard.

Do you actually think that he is out to get the mean ole military?

So he voted against some military funding bills, so what? Do you actually think that if enough Congressmen would have voted down the bill, that another bill with no pork and only military funding would not have been immediately introduced?

What of when he does make his views and stance on our Defense clear and they turn out be very strong, realistic, and supported by a large number of active duty personnel and veterans, will you still be against him?

BTW, I am a veteran of Desert Storm, served in the US Army, the Army Reserves, then my last years with the Alabama National Guard and I support Paul.

President Ronald Reagan said the following of Paul: “Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first. We need to keep him fighting for our country.” — Ronald Reagan (emphasis mine)

You know, you can be against Paul without all of your hyperbole on him. You might get less reactions from his supporters defending him against your mindless chatter.

Poor baby...

It's ok, you can worship the kook. He loves it when you bow before him.

Enjoy!

Bella, you need to read some of my posts herein. I am a Paul supporter, but I am not a kook about it. I've raised concerns about him as well. My feelings are definitely not hurt, I laughed at the pic of him with the tin-foil hat on and really do think it was funny. But, I turn the humor around on you and then have that offal spewed at me? Now, who exactly is the kook?

Hi, back from the beach and perusing the Paul posts. Does anyone know, someone touched on it while I was away, but does Ron Paul prefer kissing babies or punching them?

That's better than kissing them, Ron Paul may give them herpes, better to give them a black eye.

And all you are good for is trolling. This is a joke thread, slick. If you can't get that in your tiny mind then don't bother posting.

You honestly think that I think Ron Paul has herpes? If he does or not, I don't know. But, come to think of it, he may. In fact you've talked me into it, Ron Paul definitely has herpes.

Not true.

Unlike SOME people ^ (not pointing out any particular libtard or Paulbot -- Jeff556 ^ ), many of us Hannity folks are also good at proper spelling of proper names.

By the way, did you know that many Paulbots, like their illustrious would-be leader, are incredibly ghey?

Word.

Ron Paul enjoys a brisk cup of coffee in the mornings, his favorite creamer? Butternut mocha. He slowly sips his coffee in his wooden shoes. With a pipe nearby, awaiting a good smoke, the Paul searches the internet for his latest team of spammers on various message boards.
