I'm just curious as to how everyone came to be here on the hannity.com forums.
Saw Sean Hannity for the first time on Fox one night, and being in television news myself, I was curious about his work background. Looked up his website for a bio, and opened up the forum out of curiosity. I read the forums off and on for a few months until one day, there was a discussion that got me interested enough to want to respond. So I figured out how to register and sign on, and there I was.

I was a member at Bill O' Reilly, and got tired of paying him and putting up with his retarded mod staff that was so PC it was sickening. Well the 3 or 4 of us got the boot and we wound up here, this is a much better sight. The whole thing is much much better, and it free to boot. So I guess you kinda got stuck with some of us!:D

I don't remember how I came across the Hannity boards. It's been quite a few years now. I guess it's because I listened to his radio show and found out about it.

I logged on cause I listen to Sean and found the board, which I was pleased to find is free. I read the board a long time before I posted anything. I get breaking news faster here then anywhere else.

Thought I would e-mail him a piece of my mind and found this very good board instead. This is my first and probably last. Very good forum and intelligent posters.

A woman I worked with would always nag to me about liberals and loony leftists (I guess she assumed myself a conservative). She told me about this forum online and that her husband posts on it (I forgot his name like a year ago), and I initially came here to just see the kind of things he posted out of curiosity. Then found while the majority who post here are pretty much partisan backwash, there are some good posters I like to debate or associate with.

I listened to Sean on the radio a while back out of curiosity (being English and relatively new to his kind of talk radio) and then made my way to this site. Then I became addicted and now cannot leave... Like Antrel, there are posters here I respect from both sides of the great divide, and posters who are doofuses (is that a word?). It's a fun ride!

I was doing some research, attemptinig to find some archived material, when I noticed the Forums link. I feel it is the best laid out, most intuitive such site out there and arguably the most fair vis a vis decisions made regarding one's status on the site. I have since found that many of the posters here are intelligent, articulate and really know their **** which is refreshing as I have been able to learn quite a bit and have tempered some of my views because of it.

So thanks to everyone who does a great job creating and maintaining this site.

My roots go back to the Rush Limbaugh guest host days. I started visiting the first hannity.com website. The one he started up shortly after this radio show debuted. I joind the first forum as scottfromwi back then. Changed to my current handle after one of the first updates to the forum. Got real active here around the time of the Toby Kieth / Dixie Chicks thing. Then they did another update to the forum and I lost all my posting history, so I lost intrest for a while. I come back from time to time and post a little here and there. Not as active as I was at first though.

Reminds me goodlife, I know I go back as far as you do. I see you have a join date of Aug, 2002. One year earlier than mine. being a mod, were you able to adjust that date somehow, to reflect a more accurate join date for yourself? I know I go back to the fall of 01. Just wondering if anything can be done is all.

I found this board because all the liberals on the Court TV Politics Forum were talking about it. That place doesn't allow conservatives and they ban you as soon as they find out that you're not a bleeding heart liberal, so I thought I'd check over here.

On a fine day couple of years ago I heard an allegation that Fox news was not 'fair n balanced' and decided to look at their web site and check it out for myself. There was some sort of mini-discussion or comments section there where someone had mentioned name of this forum and looked it up. It was and remains a great place for disagreeing with others and got hooked.

By the way, this was an interesting way how another honored guest found this forum that should get a mention LOL

accualy, yes I did. I googled the term "fear of nudity" & landed at this fourm.

I'd been watching H and C for a while and was tired of yelling at Sean on TV. So I figured the next best thing was to go to his site and yell at like minded ppl.

Then I started to like the forums and the ppl on it, even the cons ...

Anyway ... this forum is truly top notch, I've learned a ton so far (stilll have a ways to go), and I've found my lil' e-home on the range.

I came here after hearing Sean's interview with Senator Voinovich on the immigration bill. That really galvanized my thinking to take some kind of action. Being from Ohio I knew I had to speak out.

So, I came to Seans website and joined in.

Been an internet junkie for many years. I'm an IT guy anyways so I can mix work with pleasure.

I'm finding the liberals tough. I respect there right to be wrong. I was wrong once, then saw that was a mistake on my part :))

I've learned a lot, and the discussions help me to be more interested in our world, government and political process.

Glad to be here with all of you!

By looking for it! I only wished that I’d found the place several years ago. I love the whole give and take of a forum vs. chat (different purposes, I suppose) and IM never really gets to the point like a phone call. Debate and reflective thoughtful dialogue is what I find the most exciting. A place where I can express my views without fear of some maniacal mod inserting their opinion over my own has always been a longed for sanctuary. Had a place similar to that back about 5 years ago, but since it was a private forum (self-hosted) when the owner was not able to justify it’s existence, it closed.

I listen to Sean as a perverse curiosity. I am forever amazed at those who are so darn certain about everything: war, politics, faith, abortion, etc.

I have lived in many urban areas in many parts of the country; met and talked with countless people about the above. The overwhelming majority of Americans I speak with are thoughtful non-partisans who go issue to issue.

They struggle with conflicting thoughts and feelings.

They may have been opposed to the invasion of Iraq, but soberly believe we must stick it out.

They may believe that abortion is the taking of life but can't bring themselves to advocate a total ban.

They may believe the free market system is by far the best of available economic systems but simultaneously view it as imperfect, toxic and in constant need of vigilance.

Sean, apparently, suffers from no such internal struggles, which makes him simultaneously compelling and disturbing.

Sometimes, being sure isn't a vice. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Sean Hannity is young and excitable, but he is well-rooted in his beliefs and ideology. It doesn't make him simple minded by any means.

Liberals dislike people like Sean and Rush because they are SURE of their beliefs.

Couldn't have said it better... Sean is a voice for all of us who are never heard by the liberals that want to censor every conservative voice. Sean is a Great American who stands up for what's right and what he believes in. It's nice to know that some people are still on the right track when is pertains to beliefs and ideologies.

I listen to Sean's show every day as it entertains my boss and I while we go about doing the kind of job most American citizens wouldn't do...well, by some folks standards anyhow. Sean is a breath of fresh air in the ungodly heat and/or cold depending on the season down here in TX. I've wanted to become a bit more involved and I figured this is a good place to start.

My hubby and I have been huge Sean Hannity fans for years now, having attended the Hannitization Tour in Erie, PA, listening to him everyday and watching him on Fox News, every evening! Okay, so we have to say that we love Sean Hannity, his patriotism and his capacity to speak straight to liberals and conservatives, alike. Sock it to 'em, Sean!

mr. hannity is one of the only people on television who actually tells it like it is. he asks the questions that we all want answers to. i am a veteran of operation enduring freedom and i find obama's view on iraq to be dangerous and demoralizing to my comrades in arms. we were taught to place the mission first and never accept defeat. obama wants us to accept defeat in iraq and it downplays everything we have done there. all of my friends who have died or have been wounded, every family who received a folded flag. i think obama is dangerous for america, and after watching mr. hannity's show i just had to visit this forum. we need 300 million strong against obama.

Agree 100% with you Michael as a veteran in the Air Force, I cannot stand the thought of Obama being the Commander and Chief of our armed forces. This is the same guy that states the flag is a sign of oppression for some! Unbeleivable. I cannot even believe it is as close as it is. It just goes to show you how uninformed America is. I beleive all voters should have to take a standard test before being allowed to vote, since half of them probably do not even know who Dr. Rice is. Watching the debate last evening, just decided to look up Hannity. It was so cool to see all of the people writing in and telling the truth. It is good to see other intelligent people who feel the way I do about the presidential election. So scary to think Oboma could actually be a president of anything. We have to do something to stop this person and all of the people who have done next to nothing to help our country. All Oboma and Nancy Pelosi can do is blame President Bush. When they are in Washington too. What have they done????

I found Sean's forum after realizing FOX was the only news program one could depend on for accuracy.
I still have not quite figured out how the site works, but I will eventually.
The reason I began to read and post was because I want to know how Obama has gotten as far as he has, yet American Dems are overlooking all of his shady dealings and why certain Congress members are not being investigated nor prosecuted- who cares what Pelosi thinks- this is America not DemAmerica.
If the shoe were on the other foot Reps heads would be rolling in the streets.

I know how you feel- at least I feel betrayed and hopeless. But I know that like all other trials, this too shall pass. We must stand strong, not let the enemy gain one inch. When they try to advance we must stop them in their tracks. As involved as the Libs were this election, they can not sustain it as they have no drive left. They will feel fat and happy and think that they will be handed the next election since Obama has promised to give them everything else. In two years we can win back some congressional seats. Then in four, we will have a new leader that has to sort out the mess left behind. With any luck we will percevier.

I was on a road trip just before the election and heard Hannity on the radio.

Now I had seen Hannity on TV in the past, so I knew who he was, but it wasn't until this road trip that I was interested in visiting his website or learning more about him.

The fact of the matter is I consider myself to be a free thinker. So when Hannity was madly shouting that Obama is a liar we know nothing about, I realized, I actually know more about Barack Obama than I do Sean Hannity. If anything I have less of a reason today to trust Sean Hannity than I do our new president elect.

So I'm here to learn. Suffice it to say every time Hannity speaks I feel offended as an American. Maybe if I learn more about him and his following I'll change my mind. That's where I'll end this. I don't want to anger anyone here, I just don't get it but seriously want to understand.

Big difference, Obama was running for President of the United States, Sean Hannity is a television and talk radio host. You have heard more about Obama because he was running for the office of President of the United States, just like I and most everyone else, we know more about Barack Obama than we do Sean Hannity, the same applies to John McCain and Alan Colmes.

I feel you had made your mind up long before registering to this site and long before you listened to him on your road trip, but you want to confuse others into thinking you are really trying to understand, but your not able to because Hannity won't allow you to.
But, you have the right to feel anyway you want to feel, your entitled to that as much as anyone else.
I honestly hope and encourage you to continue to listen to Mr. Hannity's insight, you can learn a lot if you listen to all the information you can from many sources, not just Mr. Hannity. Take it all in, and decipher it, you will soon separate the truth from the lies.

Edit: My apologies I was dragged a little off-topic, and would like to get it back on the topic of :How did you find the Hannity.com forums?

I've been watching Fox News since 2000, I love Sean Hannity's dedication to America and what it stands for and I know Mr. Hannity will never turn his back on America. He loves his county and I admire him deeply for that. Found this Forum after staying up all night worried to death about America's bad choice for president, thought I was a tough guy but couldn't hold back my tears as hard as I tried, then suddenly I stopped and came to the conclusion that if we work hard enough and the other half of America can pull the wool out of their eyes we can win back America and make it strong again.

I am here in hopes that the conscious thinkers of America can unite together and help the rest of the country see the truth of whats really going on, we can do this. This should never have happened and we should not even be in this situation discussing this topic now.

People can lie all they want but the truth is still the truth, no matter what.

I watch Hannity and Colmes every night and Hannity's America on Sundays. When BO won the election, I needed to find solace and comfort. I really needed a reason to drag myself out of bed because I felt hopeless about America's future. I feel that the majority of Americans have just been swindled by a fraud. I needed to be sure I wasn't alone in my thinking and find a group of like-minded people so that we can re-group and re-focus the conservative movement and prepare for 2012, and whatever may come our way in the next four years.

My experience with the forum has been a little disappointing. I don't like to waste time yet I was curious to learn more about a few things. Sean is a beacon of reason in a mind numbing ocean of libralism and negativity that has now been dubbed "progressive". Which initself is rediculous. It's hard to find "progress" in the dismantleing of our beautiful country and putting chains on the freedoms granted to us BY AMERICANS WHO DIED SO YOU CAN HAVE THEM. However, I do not appreciate your oversight as it applies to political 'hearing'.

Prior restraint is what this forum should be against. Conservative justices apply it, as they should. I will cite if you request.

However, you have, as moderators, also insisted on PR in your post-thread settlings. How is this consistant?

If you are to premeditate our posts, then you have an obligation to set the standards. If you are to be so oblique as court orders then you must accept the same discorn as the courts are awarded.

Respectfully,

Tolly

Very simply, I love Sean Hannity, I'll spare you why but its pretty much the same reason any other conservative does. So I found his site. i saw on the front page that there were forums so i would always creep in the shadows of them until I realized that i could join for free. Badda Bing-Badda Boom... here I am!! Also because rushlimbaugh.com doesn't have forums... at least to my knowledge.

Welcome to American Conservatism. It can get a bit "rash" sometimes, but that's the beauty of America, and free speech. You don't have to agree. Hope you enjoy!

I got tired of listening to the FM stations and decided to check out the AM stations and Sean was on the only station I can get clear enough to listen to. I liked what I was hearing, furthermore, I found out that not only is Sean on the station by O'Reilly and Rush are also. :) Now my radio stays on that station. I went to look up each of them and found that Sean had this forum so I registered.

From listening to SH on the radio. I have to admit, I don't listen as much since the election. I'm trying to let the knot in my stomach loosen up.

Started with listening to talk radio. Our local station started to broadcast Rush and a couple years later Sean. I try to listen when I can and search for stations during my travels. When I can, I get on the internet and listen. But all too often, I am not able to listen due to work hours and customer demands.

I HATED talk radio, it seemed like it was all commercials, so I never listened. In Dec 08 I tuned in for a weather update, and Hannity was on.

I heard him making what sounded like quotes from my favorite book, Atlas Shrugged...so I continued to listen and was amazed, almost incredulous to find someone with such a wide broadcast speaking what seemed to be common sense. I am a new fan!

Sometime during his show Hannity commented on the forums on his website, so I tracked this place down.

I'm here because I am a conservative, and I love listening to Sean. I have been listening to conservative talk radio for almost 20 years now. Started with Rush, and I still enjoy it as much as I did when I started. I get frustrated with the liberal media, and downright angry sometimes. The internet and radio talk shows seem to be the only way to get other conservative views. Glad to be here! :D

I've actually been a viewer of Hannity's forums since right after 9/11 but never became active. Long story short, I am to the point where I can now watch Hannity at 9pm M-F and plan to participate more in the forums.

Thanx,

I've been listening to the radio show & TV shows for quite sometime, as alot of concerned citizens have. From what I can tell about this "STIMULAS BILL", is that the Due Process of our system has been compremised. The Bill as I hear it is really a corrupt document & deleterious to the American way of doing business. As far as setting another Historical event. I am in favor of the "IMPEACHMENT" process to start.

I'm just hoping the rest of the liberal world / media catches on to the fact that Obama isn't qualified to be president. He was born in Kenya, the Certification Of Live Birth was a document given to human beings born ABROAD, not in the State Of Hawaii.

Half of his family said he is from Kenya and even his own grandmother says she was in the delivery room, IN KENYA, when he was born.

This is Obama's Monica Lewinsky. It won't go away. He should come clean now

I have just signed on to Sean's site in hopes of finding my way around to feel more involved. I have listened to "Fox" anytime I am driving and now both my husband and I get home from our day of trying to make a living to watch Sean. Do you have to subscribe to each diffrent thread? And how do you get to your control panel? I get a message "I don't have that privilage?

I was reading a site that had a thread devoted to the uproarious and riotous jocularity of some the regulars there coming over here and the great fun they had had with all the stupid right wingers. It took me awhile to finally get registered and my first comment was to the moderator (Goodlife I think) I was able to access and included a link and copies of three comments.

I've really been struggling to find my way around now that I am here. If I ever get the hang of it I think I'll add it to my regular route.

That didn't go down well with me. These people who think they are so superior yet behave in such a repulsive way just got to me.

Hi,

I'm from Europe and I wanted to get another point of view from over the atlantic. So I started to read american newspapers and also i started watching The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (because it was aired here). And as you maybe know he sometimes shows parts of O Reily factor or Sean Hannity stuff and comments of them in a quite funny way.
Therefore i was wondering so I started to watch a little Fox and Fox News and I really found it amusing and I came here to have al look @ the people that watch Fox and argue with them a little (in an appropriate way of course!)

Best Greetings

I listen to Sean while doing my job every night of the week. I listen on the only good talk radio station in my area. WNOX 100.3 FM . Sean, Rush, and Neill are the only information sources I have come to trust to give me the facts and not a bunch of lies.

I've listened to Mr. Hannity's radio program for a long time, but only recently checked out his website. I was looking for a place to see what other Americans have to say and possibly feel that I too, have a voice. So, I am new here. It looks like I have a lot of reading to do!

Obermann and Maddoww are clowns their attitudes and their way of presenting their opinions make a mockery of of todays problems.

I listen to Sean Hannity's show, Rush's show, Michael Savage's show, and Marc Levin's show. Hannity seems to me to be the most likable conservative on the radio because he isn't as close-minded as Rush, and isn't as belligerent as Savage or Levin. I don't consider myself a republican or democrat, but my views lean more to the left, especially after seeing how Rush and Hannity sometimes present incorrect info. I still like to hear how both sides of the political spectrum thinks though. I listen to Rachel Maddow, Keith Olbermann, Steven Colbert, Jon Stewart, and Bill Maher as well. To me, you don't get the full aspect of an issue if you only listen to one personality. Listening only to Maddow or Olbermann only give you the left-leaning view, while listening only to Rush or Sean gives you only a right-leaning view. Neither view fully represents what America should really be about. It takes a middle ground of both opposing views to form a real opinion, imo.

I watch some of the MSNBC shows now and then. I like to watch all the networks some, and they had some bit about a thread on this forum. Then I happened to see a reference to the site somewhere else, some random blog I'd linked to, so I thought I'd have a look see.

Some interesting dialogue here. I like the back and forth in the thread on Chinese killer missile tech.

Let the games begin (I mean, you know, like Olympic games, not head games).

One thing that seems to escape these liberal do-gooders is that the people who got waterboarded were people who had killed, attempted to kill or were planning to kill AMERICANS!
One was waterboarded 186 times. Seems he was prepared to withhold vital information until the 186th time. That was the ONE! You have to applaud the Bush people for their persevance!
With more people like Pelosi and Reid, we could be a muslim nation soon. Let's bow to other muslim leaders and apologize for this great Nation's actions over the past 200 plus years. We built the strongest, most powerful nation in the world in a few short years. In a few short months Obama is trying to tear it all down. God help us all.

I had heard about these forums on the Hannity show but had never visited until now. What sparked my interest was a link a found while researching the story of 1LT Michael Behenna. I started to read the postings and was alerted to the misinformation that was being passed along. So, I decided to join and help correct some of the incorrect and incomplete postings. I encourage everyone to visit defendmichael.com to check out this story. There is a lot more of the story to come so check checking the website for updates.
