From an old friend who always tried to link me to some of the more "humorous" threads but at that time, since I wasn't a member, I couldn't read them. So I got curious and joined. Oh, I've met a lot of new friends since. :D

If I'm not mistaken I think it was in 2004 I heard someonecall into Hannity's radio show saying she was a mod on this very forum, and that she was topless and sunbathing on her deck or back yard or something.

But that's how I first heard of it, so I visted for a couple days, lurked but never joined. Then in 2005 when I got bored one day I decided to join. I left for a while but came back a couple months ago...

After Hannity became nationally syndicated, I started checking out his website in the same way I did with Rush's website to check up on day-to-day updates on the show's content.

Rush has been a little more generous on transcript content, but this place has been better as far as providing a place to interact in politics.

Similar. I was checking out Rush's site and was curious to see what Sean had on his, then I wandered into the forum.

So I would say a combination of raydidio and the Limbaugh site.

My husband...and he found out about it from Listening to hannity. When we were in NJ...He used to listen to hannity on the radio at work while he was working in his cubicle. anyway, at one time he posted here....when we left NJ....and he took a job back at property level...no time to post here. But I was bored after our move and he suggested I post here. And so, I did. I kept getting kicked off parenting boards. my views were just *too extreme*. He btw still listens to hannity everyday. He times his "out of the office time" during hannity's show. :)) I listen most days. depends on the kids and that day

I started on a local paper's website with their poll of the day. It was something political and living in the area that I do, the majority of the replys were of no substance, just "Republicans suck". So I was hooked. I was more interested in fighting there, and decided to look for somewhere there was actually debating going on, not fighting. I've been listening to Sean for a few years, since I found a station that carried his program. And would come check out his website once in a while when I noticed he had a forum. I logged on and saw real comunication rather than "I hate you, you suck", "Well, I hate YOU, You suck!" and decided this was a good place to be.

Try 640 WHLO out of Akron/Canton. If I can get it over here near the Pa. border, I would hope you can get it in Cleveland. Quinn and Rose until 9AM, Glenn Beck til noon, Rush Limbaugh til 3 then Sean Hannity until 6. After that, it's Michael Savage so I start playing CDs if I'm driving around that time.

Wow, that's interesting.

I imagine it might be kind of frustrating to see your other spending a lot of time on a message board. I can't sit around on the comp when mine is home, one reason is that he always wants to go somewhere, do something.

I found Fox News one night, and Bill O'Reilly was on. I'd never seen a show quiet like it. Hannity and Colmes was on right after...and I was hooked. I began listening to Bill and Saun (sp?) on the radio. Both of them kept talking about their websites. So, one morning after I'd dropped off the girls to school...and had the house to myself...I went to look at both websites. Bill's was hard to get through, and to this day still can't quiet figure out exactly what one does to post there? This one is so user friendly..and was so very welcoming that I've been here ever since.

Prior to Hannity, I'd only posted in a chat room once before. Yahoo has one for disabled persons. It has no moderators..and the talk is more like Jerry Springer then anything of real mettle. So...when I found this place..I was in heaven.

I think that has been over year ago now. Although I don't get to post as much as I wish these days...I still like to keep up and post here and there with my little comments.

Viva le Hannity!

Listened to Sean Hannity (found him on the AM radio by accident) my sophomore year of high school while studying for a test and lurked on here for awhile. (I was intimidated because I didn't know if high school students participated here) Finally joined last summer, but with the help of a mod, had to create a new account in March because of a unfortunate situation. It's good to be back on here since I am done with my first year of college and I don't have school until August. :)

I heard Sean challenge someone who was against invading Iraq with "but what if you're wrong". I wanted to make the same challenge to him. Hmmmm, who would have the better end of that argument today?

It didn't take me long to decide that the chances of Sean reading hereabouts was likely remote ... despite that the board was much smaller back in '02. However, I noticed a distinct lack of liberal voice; there were no more than five or six of us in a sea of conservative ignorance.

I've been listening to conservative talk radio for a while (Radio America/Limbaugh/Hannity etc) and today I found the Sean Hannity Show on WNOX FM (Oak Ridge/Knoxville.)

I think it was in between the talk about Obama and the MN bridge collapsing that our host said something about hannity.com.

Decided to drop over and check it, found there was a whole forum devoted to stuff that might wind up on the show, and registered.

So, here I am.

I listen to Sean Hannity at work, and watch his show in the evenings and the weekend show, too... He and Glenn Beck are my favorite "pundits"... I agree with him a lot of the time, but being a conservative, I have a brain and I think for myself, do my own research, etc... and then make my own decisions...

I used to be a liberal--in fact I was a "hippy" But life, seeing my country fall into ruins, and gradually losing my liberal mental disorder (it helped to get away from my Hollyweird and theatre "friends"), I became a conservative--very conservative...I don't even know that "hippie girl" anymore... Don't miss her dopey self, either...

So, it's just natural that I would want to check out the forum and see what other people are talking about.

My family always listened to the radio show, but as a kid talk radio stuff bored me to death. Recently however some of these web 2.0 sites out there have gotten me all pumped up for the 2008 elections. I'd really like to see Mitt Romney be president. So ever since then stuff like that interested me, and I listen to the radio show at work when I'm driving around running errands. It was only a matter of time I would make a post or two on the forum, I'm a total forum whore.

I think I started listening to Sean pretty soon after 9/11. I didn't realize how much policits mattered, even though I had voted my first time two years prior to that day. For the past six years, I only get to listen randomly as my job doesn't allow me to listen during the day and the hours are so crazy, I don't get to watch him at night all that much. I actually just came to this board yesterday and thought, what better way to waste my time than actually on a board linked to someone I love! so I'm new and excited to see the discussions!

I think I started to get a bit more aware of what is happening in the world after 9-11. I tuned in to Sean and I was hooked. He was saying things that I was feeling. Of course my husband just starts laughing and says "I told you so." :)

I have been listening to conservative talk radio for a long time and when 9/11 happened I became more interested in politics and what is going on around the world. But I have to say the way I actually found this forum is after Nick Berg was murdered I was very upset over what happened and I searched for more information on what happened online and that is when this forum showed up in the results on Google.

I had enough with the DU as well as the CU, and I was burning the last of my wick over at a smaller offshoot of the DU called the p4c, but this board had just the right blend of nuts, bolts, moonbats dingbats and bat****ters for me to have my kicks when I first came in. I remember my early proxy war against skytrooper82nd, drawing swords on Alpha Con, gawking at Joe Blowtowskii... and then Robodoon. Those were the days....

I've spent the last 6 years raising 2 daughters by myself while completing a PhD and beginning a university faculty position. Then I met a wonderful retired soldier who spends most of his television time watching Fox News and began to experience a whole new world of Sean Hannity. I was familiar with Bill O'Reily and Greta Van Sustren, so how did I miss my new FAVORITE? So, my now fiance' and I watch Fox all morning, when I go to work, I listen to Boortz, Rush, and Hannity- until a couple of weeks ago when some jerkwad messed with the talkradio on my computer and I couldn't get Sean anymore. So I remembered Sean mentioning Hannity.com on his radio show and now I can listen at work again- THANK GOD!

It is already difficult being the only republican in a predominantly democratic occupation- to be deprived of my only outlet and kindred spirit is like taking away the oxygen in the room. At last, I can breathe again!:flag:

I just saw you on the Rivera show!! Your great conviction does mean something to all of us and for him to take it so lightly was very disappointing to me. I have also watched him for years. You bet your bippy that character and good judgement make a difference. We re-registered this year as Republicans and are very proud of our decision. November 4th is my Birthday and I am hoping to see McCain/Palin in place by the end of that day!! I think that Sarah has taken more guff than any candidate and that is wrong. Todd Palin should be able to have some time to tell those folks a thing or two. They have been attacking his wife and his family for no reason and that is not acceptable!! The Palin children deserve better from our media!! I think that Al Sharptin needs help!! Obama has risen above nothing accept his shady past with the help of shady Democrats. Where is his Birth Certificate? Where was he "really" born? His gramma says Kenya. Why is it okay for him not to have to answer any of these questions or to provide accurate documentation? Oh and why is Michele Obama not put in the forefront the way that Cindy McCain has been? Cindy McCain has not only traveled to foreign Countries they have a beautiful adopted daughter. John McCain has served our Country since he was 17 years old. He brings wisdom, experience and great dedication to the table. What a wonderful President he will make. His passion and understanding for our situation in Iraq. My son joined the Air Force at 17 (High School delayed enlistment). He is now 35 years old. He was in Desert Storm, has traveled the world and spent his time in Iraq. (OSI). Our daughter in law spent time in Iraq. They agree that so much good has been done. We all need to Pray that McCain/Palin win because I fear what we might be in for if they don't!! Your shows are wonderful and we appreciate all that you do!!

I don't know whether or not I have been censored or not by moderators or not. IF indeed I have been censored, then I have little reason to return here. I am too much of a believer in freedom of speech to accept the imposition of such limitations.

Please understand that I doubt that I care to waste any more time providing new threads for discussion, only to find that someone apparently can remove them without notice or warning.

I listen to Sean daily on his syndicated radio program and have no beef against him.

Still not exactly sure where I want to actually post my first topic but I am sure that will come to me. So that is how I came here to the forums. I am definately going to be more active in tuning into Sean and his group. Thank-you for this site.

Hannity is a solid american, his views are so dead on. I'm proud to visit his website. When I saw his Forum link, I of course registered. Great site, needs some more freebies though.

I'm just curious as to how everyone came to be here on the forums?

Am a fan and discovered the site by accident - Of course I registered - Shawn is the guy to get us through the long nightmare ahead - LOL. :flag:

I have been a loyal fan of Hannity & Colmes since 1998 and had seen Sean's website before. During this campaign I needed to go somewhere were I could express my views where the majority of people were conservative thinkers. If not for this website I would probably lose my mind with all of my anger and discust built up inside.

i grew up watching nbc. never been too much for politics till this election year. after the first few months of the election coverage i said "wow are all the networks so 1 sided?" so i got the ol' trusty clicker out and went hunting for a bit more news on the republican side of things... yes they all seemed to be 1 sided untill i found this show called Hannity & Colmes on Fox News... The rest is history.

i have always known i was more on the conservative "right-wing" side of things. being a hunter, and very strong pro-gun NRA member, but like i said above never got into political thing untill this year. NOW i am. & i look to Fox News for the coverage on it.

I wish Fox News would cover our local news too! Our local news media are all "left-wingers"

Hannity is a stud! His only issue is... He spells his name wrong!!! It's S-H-A-W-N dude! hahaha Just a Shawn vs. Sean joke!:))

Colmes is ok too, for a liberal. just a bit mixed up!:wall:

After my move to FL I asked someone about good radio talk show stations and they referred me to Hannity. I then "Googled" him and found this Website.

I came to this web site for the first time after the election to see how others felt. I have been a conservative my entire life and have never voted for a liberal platform, and therefore never a democrat. This election however stunned me. It was like the Russian and French revolutions where the Republicans were thrown out of power (but not executed). I believe the Democrats are going to own the white house for the next 16 years, 8 for Obama, and 8 for Hillary (or a clone) to follow. This last republican regime proved impotent in the war on terror, built up a huge deficit, sat and watch as oil prices climbed out of control, the financial industry destroyed itself through greed, the automobile industry imploded, etc. I live in what used to be a red state, but in this election I saw Doctors, Lawyers, business owners, Catholics, women, whites, blacks, hispanics, students, young people, all voting democratic. In four years when Obama asks are you better off now than in 2008, it is highly likely the answer will be a resounding yes. It is a shame that Sean, Rush, Ann Coulter and the like couldn't have lined up behind McCain. The party is now close to being irrelevant. When my life long uber conservative mentor told me he is done contributing money to the Republican party, I became convinced this is going to have LONG term repercussions.

Just graduated from college this past May and I've been a radio listener on my commute to work since I moved to Houston. I love discussing political topics with a range of individuals. I'm all about smaller government and fiscal conservatism.
