Rosie O'Donnell is finally leaving "The View." After a series of embarrassments and criticisms, Rosie O'Donnell has read the writing on the wall and the buzz in Hollywood is that Rosie O'Donnell will announce today that she is leaving "The View."

regardless of the announcement, it's likely O'Donnell will stick it out through the end of the season, report our friends at TMZ.com.

This comes on the heels of O'Donnell making a fool of herself in front of 2,000 of New York's most accomplished women in media yesterday. The lesbian and comedian-turned-controversial loudmouth was at the Matrix Awards at the Waldorf-Astoria Grand Ballroom when she decided to let loose and unbuckle her manners belt.

While O'Donnell dropped an removed or two, grabbed her crotch, and yelled "Eat me!" to Donald Trump, Barbara Walters was far from amused.

As with most things of this nature we do not get to see the inner workings of the actual event. I find it unlikely that she would walk away willingly. The network likely allowed her to "save face" because of the stink she would make.

I guess viewers wanted to see a live talking pig -- Arnold the Pig (from "Green Acres," who was much cuter than Rosie, by the way) was before their time, I suppose.
The fact that Rosie is an outspoken lesbian is bad enough. But when she tells outright lies about Pres. Bush, 911, Roman Catholics, etc., then it's time for her to bend over so we may kick her fat butt out of the building.
The next smart thing ABC shoudl do is to cancel "The View" altogether. Who wants to hear a bunch of post menopaulsal, middle-age or older women bitching for an hour? If I wanted that, I'd stay at work!
