Flight was great.................slow descent so the ears were not bad.

Got a NICE upgrade to the rental, and powerhouse parking block and a half away.

Hotel is really nice. Got upgraded for nothing, thanks to my bad knees. Lovely courtyard with a pool (gotta buy a bathing suit).

Talked to Goodlife and annouced my presence (after she yelled at me for NOT calling when we landed as promised).

I'd almost forgotten the beauty of Nawlins.

Got Pop unpacking, and am ready to rock 'n ROLL.

Changing my shoes first. They are cute, but they are pinching the **** outta me right about now.

I have FINALLY chewed thru the duct tape, rescued my laptop from Goodlife and Sidestreamer, and kicked them OUT of my hotel room, but not before Side corrupted my son a little.

We have already been on Bourbon Street, eaten gumbo, and played musical parking spots. There is also a video of me dancing on Bourbon Street.

Goodlife and Side are off to get Lera, Gene, and T from the airport, and we are meeting up later for drive by daiquiris.

I MUST say, Gene's got the COOLEST toys.

We all went back to Leigh's after dinner to tuck sidestreamer into bed, and make sure he had his blanky and teddy. Last I looked, he was curled up and looked so angelic (the redness is finally fading away.......)

Earlier in the day, we had a nice lunch at Market Cafe and found our way back to my hotel. Or should I say we drank our way back to my hotel.

We then drank our way back to Cafe du Monde, where the largest powered sugar fight in the HISTORY of the place happened.

When I say folks were watching us AND taking pics I'm NOT kidding. Those folks looked like Casper the friendly ghost when it was over, with Rick getting the worst of it. But you could powder a funnel cake with all the sugar that fell into Goodlifes boobs.

Then it was time to shop. .................................................. ..................

I never knew you had to do so much drinking to shop. So much so that you MISS the French Market because it CLOSED while you were ordering one more "Daquiri to GO"!!!!!!

On to the Cats Meow, where Gene, Rat, Deathstar, and Pop got up on stage.

1. Click on the BourboCam in the middle of the purple Mardis Gras box on the left.
2. Then click Live Photo and Archives
3. In the drop down box, select 02/24 and a time from last night.
4. Keep selecting Next Image for the photo of the next minute.

You'll see the people hanging around on the street in front of the bar. I can't find any of our hannity people yet. :)
