That's North Texas...we are talking Permian Basin hills and mountains....There are always massive accident pile ups whenever the ice truck spills a couple bags of ice on the road,,,imy house, my bones, etc are no longer equipped for such tom-foolery.

Every winter, I get a stronger and stronger hankering to just up and relocate to central Mexico....

But the weather was good and so was the food!!..Next time you go out to eat order churrasco with chimichurri sauce and see if they even know what it is. In all seriousness, a little quirkiness (as displayed by 99% of the TP denizens) is amusing and harmless...but when someone suffers from a mental illness, it can be disruptive at least, tragic or even dangerous at worst....

If a loved one has been diagnosed, please help them control their symptoms by encouraging them to stay on their meds...bi-polar folks, when on the upswing, often stop their meds thinking they don't need them anymore...please PLEASE encourage them to stick with the prescribed dosages....

I understand it's sad and we encourage him to stay on the meds, but when he's off it is entertaining to say the least. When he returns to taking his pills, he laughs about his previous behavior with us.

exactly, hughes....sometimes we just have to laugh. if we took everything as seriously as we could, we'd never make it. :)
I used to tell people my grandmother was crazy. They'd say their's was too....I'd say, no really. mine is. :))


I did always love the movie, "It Only Hurts When I Laugh".........about alcohol, not mental illness, but the bottom line is very much the same.
