here's mine....I might not be running today.
A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE SWEEP THROUGH THE REGION THIS MORNING. AS
SKIES CLEAR...STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP MIDDAY TODAY.
SUSTAINED NORTHWEST WINDS OF 25 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH ARE
EXPECTED...MAINLY DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS. THESE STRONG WINDS
SHOULD RELAX AROUND 6 PM.
But you don't have snow to shovel. :D

Who's complaining about shoveling? There was a smile after my statement, not a frown.
My beef with snow is when it's blowing so hard I can't see to drive. Or when it makes the roads slippery. Other than that, I'm cool.

anyone have any big plans for 2008, or are you just waiting to see what the year offers you?

1. a trip: a 10 day pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan (March)
2. my daughter's wedding (May)
Wireline
January 1st, 2008, 4:07 pm
4 big plans....
1) Appreciate what I have more, complain about what I don't have less (ongoing)
2) Lose the added pounds from BEING SMOKE FREE FOR A YEAR! Celebration! No one thought I could do it! (Goal - back in my 34 jeans by April...36 now)
3) Going to Sundance with the wife...she is dancing again, I am going just as her supporter. (Aug)
4) Cleaning up my mental trash cans, taking the last of the garbage out for good (on going)

Texas girls ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Two guys are talking in a California bar. The subject of Texas comes up.
First Guy: "Know how you get to Texas from California?"
Second Guy: "No."
First Guy: "Simple. You go east until you smell it and then south until you step in it."
(Remember, I don't judge - I just report. That's what the two guys said. Honest. Now, having said that, know that the Texas Longhorns are my absolute favorite college football team. I went nuts when they came out here and kicked USC's fanny in the Rose Bowl two years ago. Hook 'em Horns!)

A: When you suck on a California orange, it sucks back.
