Everytime I post to a thread.....It's done, I kill it. Do you think people think I am just an idiot? Do I need to phrase things differently? I am starting to get a complex. (a little extreme, but you know what I mean)

That happens to all of us at 1 time or another, don't take it personally. If I feel like I killed a thread I just say to myself "my answer was so awesome that it can't be responded too" LOL.

It's harder when you're new. I think we will get more response once we build up a reputation and people know who we are.
Don't let anything on here determine anything about you.

That always works. ;)
Here's another strategy many seem to use: If you can't convince them, then confuse them.

It is difficult getting responses when you are new, heck even when you have been here for awhile. I would not take it personally, often times the veteran posters are heatedly debating each other so some posts get skimmed over without a reply. Welcome to the board do not let this get you discouraged.

Well the last one you posted was a generic comment & a link (an invalid link as well). An improper thread and subject to removal. You did not provide anything to discuss and for anyone to find out what your comment was related to they would have to visit the link. Also... more than likely there were already other threads on the topic.
These are discussion boards. They are not intended to be a replacement for Drudge or a poorman's Google.
Take this issue... Germany / China financial warnings to the US. (not great but not a bad title)
Drudge title "Germany warns US on market bubbles; Echoes China's fears..." If you use that one MOST members here have already read it and may not even bother to open your thread. If they do open your thread they are not going to react to a generic comment like... "Obama is stupid... read this".
So....
Title:
Germany / China financial warnings to the US.
Thread:
It appears that Germany has joined China in voicing concerns about and warnings regarding the US financial state and investors 'borrowing money' at low interest rates and investing those funds abroad.
Wolfgang Schäuble’s comments included.....
“That low interest rate currencies such as the US dollar are increasingly being used as a basis for currency carry trades should give pause for thought. If there was a sudden reversal in this business, markets would be threatened with enormous turbulence, including in foreign exchange markets.”
LINK (http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/4ec41a1a-d616-11de-b80f-00144feabdc0.html)
While their concerns are mostly related to potential effects on global and their national economies I see a huge risk to our American economy. Am I wrong?
Makes for a better thread, topic, and does not risk removal.
NOTE: The financial topic above is only for demonstration... no one is to discuss it here.

Of course. You just go in as need be, make your little speech, everyone says "Hi ___" and then you leave, better briefly...only to return another day.

Make this test:
If it happens again,
delete your last post.
If the thread recovers,
go back and kill it again.

Obviously you're not the only one. That's why there's a thread in Trivial Pursuits called Thread Killers Anonymous.
