Whoops, Janet Napolitano warned of Muslim backlash. You know the innocent Muslims being terrorized and victimized by the thousands after the Fort Hood Nothing-To-Do-With-Islam attack.

"Man arrested for 'anti-Christian' mall disturbance: Kiosk employee (confused muslim apparently) allegedly tore a crucifix from someone's neck," Danville Express (http://www.danvilleweekly.com/news/show_story.php?id=2339), November 10 (courtesy of Jihad Watch):

Police arrested 22-year-old Abdul Walid Hamid of Hayward on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 4, after he reportedly tore a crucifix from a person's neck and scared others at Stoneridge Shopping Center.

Hamid, an employee at a mall kiosk near Starbucks, has been charged with battery, terrorist threats and grand theft.

According to reports, Hamid was yelling "Allah is power" and "Islam is great" while holding a pen in a fist over his head. Witnesses said he shouted anti-Christian comments, said police.

Lt. Mike Elerick of the Pleasanton Police Department said the man was not provoked and didn't threaten violence, but he committed robbery when he grabbed and broke a crucifix off someone's neck......

No problem here. Move along. Hamid did not shoot anyone, and after all, his coworkers told police that Hamid's actions were out of the ordinary.

it will be ignored because it has a capital "M" in it and is not politically correct... Life in America goes on in a toilet bowl; downward cycle....

even more interesting: Calling it a bizarre case, Theisen also asked that Hamid, who is still in custody, be ordered to stay out of Stoneridge Shopping Center.

Through an interpreter, Hamid requested a public defender and was scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Thursday where he is expected to enter a plea. remember Hamid has been working at the mall for several years and is need of an English translator... ;)

Good God! I lived in Korea 3 months and knew enough of language to get my basic needs met. By the time I was there a year, I knew about 70% to 80% of what was spoken. Had I stayed 2 or 3 years, I would have been fluent. You have people that have lived here 10+ years and still can't speak English. I have met some very intelligent people who are Hispanic, Asian, African, Italian. All of them learned English. I do not claim to be near their level of intelligence, but for an English speaking person, to learn an Asian language is the hardest for us to learn. Point being, if I can learn another language, so can someone who comes to this country.

So it's been a week, and that's it? I didn't know there was an expiration date on "backlash"...

What about the Greek Orthodox that was assaulted because someone thought he was a terrorist?
