PC harassement stifling aknowledgement of Islamic terror threat, EVEN ON THIS FORUM!!

Last week when the Fort Hood terrorist was announced, I expressed concern that it might be an attack by Islamists and, if so, would the current administration and establishment either play that fact down or focus on the need not to react against Muslims.

My concern was meant by an attack by a fellow poster to "STOP IT!". In respect for those who died, given that it was the same day as the incident, I did stop. However, now I believe there is a need for people in this country to ditch all this PC talk. All we have heard from the government and liberal media (with the exception of a few like FOX and Joe Leiberman) is a whitewash. Now that evidence is mounting that this, in fact was an Islamist attack, we can expect their focus to move to protecting all those "innocent Muslims" who are "loyal Americans".

We must compel those "loyal Muslims" to purge this hate from their congregations AND we must be able to be upfront in identifying where threats to our life and security come from. We must cease being intimitated into silence by arrogant liberals who, themselves, are safe from attack and preach to us from on-high. You can be assured that if this violence was incited by a conservative Christian church the government and media would be all over it. Regarding Obama. we can surmise that his eventual position will be based primarily on how it will effect his personal ratings and approval level. So much for him. We have to forget the temporary poor excuse for a president in the WH and act together as Americans who first and foremost value our security. Evidently this activity must take place outside the support of the current liberal PC government.

Those needing to get real are those who believe any attack by a Muslim is automatically a terrorist act and are then outraged when corrected by those who are using reason rather than emotion to learn the facts behind the act.

As to whether I believe what I posted is true. The drivel I've seen posted about Muslims since 9/11 and with this most recent incident at Ft. Hood leads me to believe that I'm right.

Personally, I don't believe this was a terrorist act, by definition. This was an act of war. This was an attack on military personnel.
Terrorism is an attack on civilians for the purpose of inducing fear.

P.S. There's a much deeper problem at Ft. Hood... blaming it on people being "afraid to blame the Moooooslims" just won't cut it.

There were several killings at Ft. Hood just last year.

Interesting point. An act of war by an American soldier against fellow troops. Clear and simple. Firing squad. Personally, I don't believe this was a terrorist act, by definition. This was an act of war. This was an attack on military personnel.

I will not reconsider my position. My position is based on a rational thought and the current facts of the incident. Not the popular to blame it on Islam because the perpetrator was Islamic.

If there was real proof of this being based on Islamic ideology, I would agree with you. But there is no real proof. Just speculation.
