No no, it was a mental health issue. The armed forces dropped the ball, this was our fault. It had nothing to do with Islam.

No, this is not a 9-11 event.
Thise who think that walking into the same mosque as someone else is the same logic as saying that since I have been to Boston's airport, I am similarly linked to the 9-11 attacks.
This kind of silliness needs to STOP.

It was a mental health issue. The real conspirators were the politically correct progressives who made it politically (in)correct to speak out when aminority was having problems for fear of offending the other minorities of the same persuasion.

I agree, It is not. However we must try to figure out why the red flagsthat Major Hasan emitted were ignored. Perhaps pathetic political correctness was really to blame.

Agreed
However, part of the problem is the difficulty faced when trying to chapter someone out of the military.
This difficulty is compounded when the individual is a Field Grade Officer or an NCO with more than 10 years of active federal service.
This really has nothing to do with political corectness but has to do instead with protecting Soldiers from being targeted unfairly or having their careers ruined due to persoanlity conflicts with superiors.

Walking into Boston's airport is not the same thing as what is being suggested here.
The man who taught two of the men directly responsible for 9/11, teaching the shooter at Fort Hood is very significant.
Or are you one of those people who think that President Obama was not influenced at one bit by Reverend Wright's teachings?

Furthermore, Major Hasan was "promoted and transferred" about that time that he "allegedly" posted on a radical forum. Hasan was promoted to Major in May 2009.
The link is Army Times notification of orders authorizing May promotions for the following active-component commissioned officers and warrant officers have been issued by Human Resources Command.

Logically, they're exactly the same.
Those who really think about it know this to be the truth.
I am one of those people who do not create connections where none exist because I desperately wish to hate.

There is no desperation on my part. I see things as they are. It is you who is seeing what you wish to see.

Then you are hating for the sake of it. That is always wrong.
