Gengar's avatar is an image of "Pedo Bear", a "mascot" for internet pedophilia. I think it's in poor taste to use thast picture as an avatar.

OK, I don't care if it is meant to be funny. I'm not sure why anyone would use that as an avatar, but Gengar can come here an explain it.

I've removed it because I think it's in appropriate.

Never heard of it before today. Looking at their website doesn't seem to be warning about pedophilia to me.

Is that sort of like saying MAMBLA warns that some men really do like young boys?

First link I followed after googling showed nothing good about it.

Been used as an avatar for a number of months, good thing it was caught.

I would caution folk here against searching for some things such as this.
Some sites may very well be monitored by authorities and put you on their radar.

I would suggest not even referring to that bear character and stop talking about it.

It's a joke. It's from a message board called 4chan. It's an internet meme. When you google it, every website that comes up is a joke. It's not a "mascot" for pedophilia, none of the sites containing pedobear are child pornography sites, and certainly none of them are being monitored by the feds.

You know exactly what was wrong with it. And because of this little act you've got going here, I'm now convinced your pedophile bear was on purpose. Before, I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. Thinking, surely he wouldn't use something like this on purpose. Now, I'm convinced you knew all along and were getting some kind of kick out of using it here.

Well, you can act like you've got some sense, or get your jollies some place else. Until I change my mind, you can just be without an avatar or a sigpic.
