I've been looking at these threads, today.
People all over are violating the civility rules and making personal attacks.
People are threatening Muslims, etc. I'm going to go through every thread and clean house.
But I can tell you, I'm aggravated with every single one of you who is engaging in this behavior.
You need to check your attitudes at the door of this board and delete any post you think is a violation, because I'm going to keep a list of names and violations and give sanctions when I'm done deleting.
ENOUGH already.

I'm not deleting a thread because people can't behave themselves.

A question. Is being uncivil to a repeated retread actionable?

A curious question on Mod trivia. What is the most people that have been banned in one day on these boards, and what day was it? Or was it today?

We've never kept count but it definitely was not today.

Not a Mod, but how would you get to post to repeated retread. Until such time as someone is evaluated by the Moderator's there status is honored guest. Once a Moderator evaluates them if they are a retread then they will be banned and their posts deleted so you won't have anything to reply back to.
Maybe instead of acting inappropriately (and getting yourself in trouble) you exercise some self control in these stressful times and maybe report suspected retreads and let the Mod's do their job.
Just a thought.

Is there a way we can keep new posters from making threads?
Maybe keep guests from starting their own threads until they reach 50/100/200 posts? It would eliminate a lot of spam and shenanigans.

It might eliminate spam/shenanigans, but it defeats the purpose of this being an open message board. Besides...I think Lee already said that wasn't going to be an option.

Fair enough. But I don't see many spam/COH threads started by guests with 1400 posts.
You already have to wait a certain amount of time to perform certain actions here, I was just suggesting an extension.
But hey, that's the rules, that's the rules.
