View Full Version : Obama says "Don't jump to conclusions" on shooting

gb2004

"We don't know all the answers yet. And I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts," Obama said in a Rose Garden statement otherwise devoted to the economy.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33712858/ns/us_news-tragedy_at_fort_hood/

Unlike he did in the not so distant past:

"I think it's fair to say, number one, any of us would be pretty angry. Number two, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home," he said.

You can bet the fed's official investigation will be sanitized.
Islam probably won't even be mentioned.

It seems Obama feels that "conclusion jumping" is only inappropriate when it involves one of his Muslim brothers.

Speaking of "Jumping to conclusions", didn't Obama conclude unemployment wouldn't get higher than 8%.
Didn't Obama conclude that healthcare would be on his desk by Aug.31st.
Didn't Obama conclude Gitmo would close by January by executive order.
Didn't Obama conclude he would unite the country.

Odrama did nothing but jump to conclusions during his campaign that he has yet end. Not to mention his short tenure as a Senator where he had zero solutions and as we all know now, no inkling on what to do or even have a simple plan to start off with, one that he could share with and explain to the people he is supposed to be leading. Obama is fail.

So don't you worry your little neocon head, Obummer will make sure to have full press corp coverage, of course against the wishes and protests of over 94% of the families involved. Nothing is sacred to this loser who has cheapened the Presidency down to a daily show skit. :(( Don't be surprised to come find out that this pathetic excuse for a man plays table drums on the coffins of our fallen. yeah just like rushing to judgement that a certain song of worship couldnt possibly have occured

there is a lot of facts and theories and information going about now, I am not advocating stalling , things seem to be leading in one direction but cant be totally sure now, in a few days we will know a lot more

i think both those who "know its a terrorist incident" and the media's and the administrations seeming rush to proclaim it in no way is a terrorist incident are both a bit misguided

The ball may have been dropped by compassionate progressivism to begin with. There were apparently many signs that Hasan was not playing with a full deck.

We need to acknowledge the elephant in the middle of the room and find out how and why some muslims become radicalized and others remain moderate....imo, islam is a violent religion and always has been from its inception. it was born out of violence. the only time its a peaceful religion is when they are in the minority. but if you look at the countries where islam is in the majority, it is hardly a peaceful ideology.

sorry if the truth hurts, but you can't change history...unless you're from the radical left of course.

The Bos'un
November 6th, 2009, 4:05 pm
I clarified it by quantifying (some) and not throwing the baby out with the bathwater. We still have to get back to the basics like why did Johnny Taliban Lindh and Adam Gadahn become radicalized and go against America. Daveed Gartenstein Ross does start to zero in on the psychological mindset. As you know, Daveed drifted toward radial islamists ideology and was able to see the light before he went all the way. ...

There needs to be more religious dialogue and sane debates between religions until we find out what parts of the sacred books are hate speech....then those who agree with those articles of hate speech, should be able to martyr themselves in a safe and sane way, without endangering others. Perhaps Disneyland and other theme parks could consider One way suicide rides for some and crucifixtion or self-emolation rides for others. Now if some insist they have to take others with them when the go, we'll ya know you will just have to settle for simulators, i.e., vidoe game style. For instance there could have been Kamakaze simulators for Militant Shinto glory or Concentration Camp Sims for the Nazis. In fact they should take all that Armageddon stuff and make an MMORPG and lets all sides battle it out in pixel jihads and revolutions to their hearts content.

I say take all this hate to virtual battlefields.

He probably remembered the Abu Gharab incident where Democrats declared that individual members of the military would never do anything wrong on their own and that they only act upon direct orders from the President!
