I saw a commercial on television last night sponsored by a popular franchise restaurant which said active duty military and veterans can eat free at their restaurant on Veteran's Day, November 11th.

Yay, Viva, Hail and Hooray to this national restaurant chain for its sincere and patriotic gesture to show appreciation for America's military.

I won't provide a link or mention the name of the restaurant out of intimidation for being banned for posting promotional material. But here's a hint: Use Google's language tools to translate this from Spanish to English: Las manzanas y las abejas.

(Manzana + abeja)

How about a tasty fall fruit and the little creatures that make honey.

Wonderful gesture.

I will support them by eating there more often.

Its on their web site.

Too bad Applebee's doesn't serve actual food. Good for them though.

Be advised the wait in line will be VERY long. That's why I haven't gone yet.

My family and I went out to eat after work and I was in my Uniform and someone paid for our meal. Don't know who it was but I thank him or her. Love the food there and recommend it 10 fold
