View Full Version : Planned Parenthood is LOSING!

The Bryan, Texas director of Planned Parenthood has resigned.
Abby Johnson says she saw an ultrasound of a precious life being murdered under the abomination of legalized abortion and, "I just thought I can't do this anymore, and it was just like a flash that hit me and I thought that's it."
She resigned on October 6, 2009.
And she's not the only Planned Parenthood member to leave. Seven others left the abortion industry because of the 40 Days for Life campaign, and one abortion mill in Montana is closing its doors.
Lack of business.
GOOD!
Planned Parenthood reacted with legal action by filing for a temporary restraining order, seeking to prevent Johnson and the Coalition for Life organization, which holds peaceful prayers at abortion mills, from disclosing confidential information. "We regret being forced to turn to the courts to protect the safety and confidentiality of our clients and staff; however, in this instance it is absolutely necessary," said Planned Parenthood in a statement.
A hearing for the restraining order has been set for November 10.
And here's a telling statement: According to Abby Johnson, "Every meeting that we had was, 'We don't have enough money, we don't have enough money — we've got to keep these abortions coming! It's a very lucrative business and that's why they want to increase numbers."
No wonder Planned Parenthood wants to silence apostates!
Come on Abby, reveal the REAL Planned Parenthood! Shine the light of truth and righteousness on them and they'll cower. Don't think of yourself as a whistleblower! You have a chance to be a lamp lighter. Light the lamp of truth and righteousness and help save the lives of innocent babies.

Still glad I worked there. Learned so much about reproductive health, gained leadership skills, and became a central figure of mentoring for my peers.

PP treated my ex wife and I very well as we prepared for the birth of our first child. And they did so without trying to shove God down our throats as so many of the alternatives do.

But that should not excuse them for being the nation's leading abortion provider.

Excuse them? That's yet another valuable, needed service that they provide.

If they didn't provide abortions, I probably wouldn't have a major problem with them.
But their stock in trade is murdering innocent unborn babies. I defy anyone to dispute that.
Am I condemning them for that despite the fact they also provide medical services?
You better believe it!

I don't dispute it. But I think abortion is a valuable and necessary service. Someone has to provide it, might as well be them.

Since when do OB/GYN's shove God down your throat?
You do know they offer prenatal care too huh?

I don't think they really needed to file a restraining order to prevent this woman from revealing confidental info. If it's medical info, she's already prevented by law from doing so. Sounds like it's their way of "punishing" this woman.
Good for her!

It's an abomination and it's murder.
Did you know that Norma McCorvey (the Roe in Roe v. Wade,) whom abortion supporters have seemingly deified, never actually had an abortion? Thank God. She placed her child, a girl, up for adoption. She's also accused her two lawyers, Sarah Weddington and Linda Coffee, with being liars and opportunists who were looking for someone whom they could use to challenge Texas state law.

She is also pro-life now. But who cares? Just because it wasn't the answer for her doesn't mean it wasn't the answer for someone else.

I was referring to organizations that help prospective moms and families prepare, not doctors. Our first child was very much an accident as we were using protection. I was just about to graduate college and she was still in school - in other words we were dirt poor. PP helped us find a regular doctor, helped us get set up with medicaid, helped us get baby supplies, etc. The only other groups out there (at least in the area we were in) that do this kind of thing tend to be faith based and neither I nor my ex wanted any part of that.

It's not the answer about 97% of the time.
But people keep doing it anyway.

Maybe it's not the answer you want it to be. Who are you to invent statistics?

Most abortions are a form of birth control, meaning there is no real medical excuse for the abortion.
It's not about whether or not I like the decision. Killing a person because you don't want them is the wrong choice.

Well, ain't that why we call it a "controversial issue". What you feel ain't a fact, it's an opinion.

What are the alternative organizations that shove God down people's throats.
When I was pregnant I went had a doctor. The docs and the clinics never mentioned God. All of the OB/GYN's i've been to over the years have never mentioned God.
What are you talking about?

Yea, Catholic Social Services does all of those things. And just like PP they take anyone regardless of their religion or lack of it. And they never preach religion to anyone. And they do it free of charge.
My how horrible of Catholic Social Services for giving the same help and doing it in the same manner... yes... i can see how evil they are
By the way, to get setup with medicaid only takes going to the medicaid office and filling out the paper work. Finding a doctor only takes picking up a phone. How hard can that be? I've always done these things all by myself... for me and my kids... even when I was only 18 years old. Don't get why you needed someone to do it for you.

You all know that there are other places to get abortions other than PP right? Any OB can do them. (though not all are willing, so they will refer you out) And besides if it wasn't for them, many women would harm themselves getting back alley abortions like they used to.
And what about cases where the woman would likely die if the pregnancy were taken to term? What about cases where the baby would die shortly after birth? What about all the other situations in the world where an abortion may be an option? (rather than just irresponsibility on the parents part... in those cases, i vote adoption, but thats not what I am talking about here.)

Abortion tends to generate hostility and irrationality from both sides of the debate. And of course, most of the participants are from the extreme edge of their side.
When you have "ban all abortions period" arguing against "Abortion on demand and without apology" the BEST you can hope for is to not have any TOS violations. :)

Very old, tired, and inaccurate agument...some never get tired of tossing it out there anyway.
Good thing you came along to save others the trouble.
And what about cases where the woman would likely die if the pregnancy were taken to term?
That accounts for what percentage of abortions performed in this country? Be honest with your response please...oh and back it up with a valid link while you are at it.
The majority of people who have a real problem with women being able to hire someone to murder their child for the sake of convenience would not only understand but support the same woman's right to save her own life IF the pregnancy presented a REAL threat to her life.
It does take more than being afraid of stretch marks.
What about cases where the baby would die shortly after birth?
So now you have a crystal ball that allows you to see that a baby will die right after being born?
Hmmmm, maybe you need to rent it out. You might be able to make a buck or two off that one.
So...I guess in your world it is a good thing to kill the child instead of giving them a chance at survival?
Wow, just wow!
What about all the other situations in the world where an abortion may be an option? (rather than just irresponsibility on the parents part... in those cases, i vote adoption, but thats not what I am talking about here.)
So, murdering a child makes someone a good parent as long as they avoid the rush and do it before the child is born?
Crappy parents murder kids...some avoid the rush...or having to look them in the face.
Doesn't make those people anything to be admired.
Oh and to answer your question.
Adoption
It's a good thing and nobody has to die so someone can pretend they did something to "prevent abuse."
Geez....do you folks even read what it is you post before clicking submit reply?
