But does anybody know how to isolate basement noise on the cheap?

I plan on putting a, well kind of half ways sort of theatre (sp?) room together. I want to knock the sound down in between the floors.

From what I hear mineral wool and well the same thing rock wool are what you need.

But like normal they are practicaly imposible to find around here. All i can find is fiberglass insulation.

Any help is much appreciated.
