Rush just mentioned on his radio show that there have been no 5-Star generals since WWII.
Did he forget that Omar Bradley wasn't promoted to 5-Star until 1950?
On a related note, General Henry Arnold was promoted to 5-Star, General of the Army, in 1944, and in 1949 was appointed General of the Air Force, also at a 5-Star rank.

Yeah, a minor, but common mistake. I see that as a big deal, unless you just want to snipe at Rush for a minor mistake. He will no doubt correct it.
I will note that we were at war (Korea) when Bradly was promoted, and the 5-star rank is only given in wartime.

It is a minor detail. I only thought it deserved correcting before someone takes it as fact.
World ending would be ordering Dijon mustard, or saying 57 states instead of 47.

The association is that Bradley commanded in WWII, irrespective of when he was appointed to his final rank.

I don't care if he got that wrong, it's not important.
