Hey all you cyber brains, I have a question. Just got a spam email. The email is from XXX@our domain name. I don't know if that's clear, but the spammer sent us an email that had an address w/ some name and it came from our business domain name. It's funky. Anyone know how this happens, if the person spamming has somehow used our domain for his address, or what the hell is up? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It is possible to put any address as the return address when sending email.

I could send you the same with my Exchange server if I knew your domain name.

Highly unlikely.

Do you run your own mail server or is it hosted?
