to you guys who have served recently just a small note....

I've noticed some of you pull out the iservedandyoudidn'tsoshutupcard way to often.i personally have only used it once.it was in reference to Adam kokesh and a paulbot.
we are here to argue on the merits of the issues.it would suit us better if we cited certain public reports that not many people would know about

or just dispense our general knowledge about coin or the nature of the enemy and what he believes.
i do not like the lack of substance in some of our arguments and our tendency to abuse the respect that the civilians give us.this is not the daily kos.were not gonna be called baby killers by even the most leftist on this board.most likely we will be given a wide berth.

I'm not talking about something that happened recently but something that i happened to notice.
for me personally i only pull that card when i think it is absolutely necessary other wise i just make my case.

When I challenge someone it is to establish thier credibility and knowedge of a subject, usually about the military. While everyone is entitled to an opinion, sometimes when speaking about military matters, an INFORMED opinion really matter.

For example DADT, easy for civilians and those that never served (Obama) to say revoke the policy.
