Okay folks. My poor hubby decided to retrieve a dead racoon from across the pond. Needless to say, he chose to use an inflatable raft. I got it all on tape. Here is what went down. Enjoy.

With a pond that tiny why not just walk around it to retrieve the dead raccoon?
Why not just let nature retrieve the raccoon?
Was a pot of raccoon stew in the offing?
Methinks the dinghy wasn't that big yellow thing in the video.
Hope you have him well covered with life insurance.

Good questions. The pond was dug the bottom of a steep hill, and the racoon was at the base of it. Only way across is by boat. I guess we didn't want the raccoon to start stinking so he went to get it first. Haha we did not eat the nasty critter, but we (actually my hubby in his wet clothes) buried it.
I agree with the dinghy part. :))
