Wonder how they like being accused of being 'fringe'.........
Seems to be the code word for anyone not marching in lockstep with the chosen one.

The White House is strongly denying a report making the rounds that it views gay critics and bloggers as part of an “Internet left fringe,” with a senior adviser asserting to me that this sentiment “does not reflect White House thinking at all.”

I don't think they were calling all gays part of the Internet left fringe. It was a comment referring to the people (bloggers) who are getting up in arms about Obama not doing more about DODT and DOMA.
Context is pointless, though. Soundbites rule.

Honestly I don't think Obama or any democrat for that matter will do anything about gay rights until severely pressured. Its all window dressing.

Nor will Republicans. Of course the GOP didn't promise them they would.
Do whatever it takes to get the vote...whether is No New Taxes to I'll close Gitmo. I'm sure Washington made promises to get votes. Delivering on the promise isn't important once they pull the lever in November.

This is dumb, his response was about the left as a whole, not specifically gays

The second he said:
"I don't support gay marriage, but I believe in gay rights"
I stopped listening.

Hey.....I did not write the headline or make the video, just passed it along.
I'd deny it too if I were them.
