they gave it to yasser and peanut brain. then they tried to give it to kerry.
in fact since all it takes to nominate is a letter. the libs have nominated every scum bucket vagrant derelict puss bucket lefty dem ****** bag they could especially if they were running for something. i nominated the dump i took last night. it could win. it's more qualified than Obama and could do a better job running the country too.

Hey, who was the last REALLY deserving winner?
I imagine we'd have to go back to about the first 5 winners.
when an avowed terrorist won the prize, it crossed the zero value mark.
now that award is just an icon to point out who is the biggest leftist sack of turds on the planet.

yeah, I kinda see the same thing.
it was worthless when arafat got one.
now it's well into negative territory.
it's funny how leftists always reward trash, filth, scum, and failures.

While this is a bit silly, there have been many many well deserved people awarded this in the past few decades.

One person, for sure, who "actually" did get some missile and nuclear disarmament established, but who would never get the prize was Ronald Wilson Reagan. Why? Not Marxist, that's why.

didn't Obama throw his support behind his cousin odinga who subsequently killed and starved hundreds of thousands of Africans? yep that forwarded the cause of peace in the world all right. i guess he is worth given the origin of the prize and its recent use as a political weapon.

Obama enabled a genocidal slaughter of africans. i guess he's qualified.

And didn't he sit down with that mope from Iran who wants to wipe Isreal off the face of the earth?? That too forwards the cause of peace I suppose.
Can anyone else come up with anything that has forwarded the cause of peace?

If the prize doesn't mean crap...why does the thread about Obama winning it have over a thousand replies already?

Exactly! And if and when a Republican wins this award, it will instantly become relevant.

Now it means less than crap.
Crap is negative. Less than crap implies something positive.
(On second thought I think I got the math wrong)

the same reason the garofalo thread keeps floating to the surface.

I have to disagree with you to say that Jimmy Carter did deserve his NPP.. The Camp David Accords and his work with Habitat for Humanity more than justifies his award. The Joke was that it took 25 years to give it to him while giving it to BO for doing nothing.

I deserve it... I have not been in a fight since I was 17 (45 years ago) and I could really use the money. ;)

Why did George W Bush not get one for freeing hundreds of thousands of women from the oppression of the Taliban in Afghanistan?
