A newborn baby is kidnapped from its mother, the baby is recovered, but the baby and three childred are taken from their mother for "their safety". Can someone explain that thinking to me.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A newborn boy abducted by a woman posing as an immigration agent was again taken from his mother after a brief reunion, this time by state officials who said the baby and his three siblings would be safest with foster parents.

Rob Johnson, a spokesman for the Tennessee Department of Children's Services, said the children were taken from their mother, Maria Gurrolla, "purely for safety reasons," though he would not detail why they were in danger.

It sounds to me like there is a lot more to this story than has been put out to the media.

Maybe it was not really abdunction. Maybe she sold the child but told the story of the abduction to explain why she no longer had her baby.

there is no telling what the entire story is here. But i doubt that the men old state just took the children away for no reason at all.

I would tend to agree with you except the FBI report saw no further danger to the mother or the kids.
Gurrolla told investigators that at one point she heard the woman make a phone call and tell someone in Spanish "the job is done" and that the mother "was dying," said Siskovic, the FBI agent.

Siskovic said Silas took the victim's cell phone, which helped investigators find Silas.
He would not comment further on the possibility that Silas was not working alone.

Reading the article makes me believe the children are in danger with the whole situation they are in.

Third world culture living right in our own neighborhoods.
