Can you tell if someone is wearing fake hair? I was pretty shocked, I thought it was their real hair. Would you rather see their real hair even if it wasn't as lucious as the fake hair they are wearing?

A couple women in my office were talking about this Chris Rock bit yesterday.

They said something like there was a study that said that African American women comprise 8% of the female population and buy 82% of hair products.

I may be wrong on the numbers, but you get the idea.

I work in a cancer center and can tell you that there are some really good looking wigs out there these days. We are supposed to mark down the side effects that patients are experiencing with chemo and I find that I have to ask about the hair loss due to the realistic wigs out there now.............although, I can spot a toupee a mile away. Give it up guys, we all know you're bald.

I will admit most white people don't have a clue about black people's hair...
My daughter's God mother and wife's best friend is a black woman/Hair stylist...

I can tell you this...if you see a black person with long hair 99.9% of the time it's fake..

As a white man who has had long hair most of my life...and have had it corn-rolled for a couple months...the things they go thru for their hair would kill most people...lol

Not to mention it's very expensive...

My one friend...it took her up in till she was 22 to grow the same length of hair as I did in 3 yrs
