Ok, so we didn’t get the Olympics. But come on people, some of these posts are starting to look like the days back when the leftist Bush haters would don their virtual party hats to celebrate another death in Iraq or some other bad news. Look, I doubt the decision by the IOC was some form of personal rebuke of Obama. Granted, Obama making what turned out to be such a high profile, personal appeal was a moronic move….but I don’t see this as a failure on his part.

If that picture is typical of what would be found in RIO……I fully understand the IOC’s decision.

The taxpayers didn't ask him to fly two jets plus military escort and his entire entourage to go to Denmark. The IOC bitch-slapped him and I am happy for it. Next time, Obama (mmm mmm mmmmmm) shouldn't go around to all the European countries telling them America failed them.

You’re right, the IOC was just out to get Obama….it’s decision had nothing to do with hot looking RIO chicks (as pictured above).
Ockham's Razor (or atleast my version of it) when presented with two equally valid choices….go with the one that has hot chicks.

To bad. I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that the President went on his world tour bashing the United States.

Word has it the protests in Chicago had some effect on the decision...heard them say it on SportsCenter.

exactly.
I didn't care either way whether we got the games or not.
But what really irked me was that hussein went over there-- while ignoring generals and the state of the affairs in Afghanistan. And then his asinine speeches and Michelles.
It's time those two blowhards got slapped down hard.
And hopefully it will happen more and more.
He put himself out there, and now he has to eat what he broke off

How dare he ignore the generals while he met with General McChrystal on AF1 this morning in Copenhagen.
Great news for America that Rio got the win!! Now, they'll get all of the tourist dollars from the thousands upon thousands of people who will be traveling there!! Whoo-hoo!
