Instead of watching 10s of thousands Chinese robots moving about, we're gonna be seeing a bunch of hot Brazilian's babes shakin' and undulating to the sounds of drums.

For 2016?
**** yeah.

We've got one of the advanced prototypes. Not only does it get information seven years in advance, but it immediately records any show I MIGHT be thinking about at that given moment, and it has 2,000 hours of memory. And it's two inches thick. It's the definition of awesome.

My favorite Olympics was probably 1980, winter. Jim Craig. "Do you believe in miracles?" It just hasn't been the same since the Cold War ended.

I really wonder at Obama's thinking when he decided to involve himself in trying to get the Olympics. If I were him, I would only do it if I were certain of success. Otherwise it seems that he loses a bit of credibility.

By the way, I'm very happy that the Olympics are going to Rio de Janiero. I lived in South America for a year and a half (Argentina) and I'm glad that they are finally getting an Olympics there.

I am glad this waste of time is finally over. All this really did was point out the childishness of Americans in general.
I am more embarrassed by the front page of the WP then loosing a stupid game.

So, when people say... im just sayin.... "We Won" then you are only embarrassed for the losers? :)

Rio Won, get over it people.

So, now, what do we do about the armor plated humvees nd the crime? ha, either way, Chicago, Rio...
I am personally happy that the olympics committee did now bow and scrape to Oprah and Michelle.
Did I hear correctly that Rio put in the highest bid?

Their bid was the costliest because it would have involved the most original building. They don't have a lot of the athletic infrastructure in place like they do in Tokyo, Chicago or Madrid.
