Like Polanski and others, hollywood shows its disdain for women and marital vows. I can hear Whoopie now, "its not extortion, extortion" or "its not sex, sex"

Just think how he treated Palin and Sanford!

Just (http://Just) think how he treated Palin and Sanford!
He's a jerk. This reminds me of Bill O'Reilly's "workplace problem" from a few years back.

the fact he's a hypocrite doesn't negate the fact that palin is quitter and sanford was a cheater.

Sanford is a marital cheat, yes. Sarah quit as Alaska Gov, yes, however she's not a "quitter."

Yes he is just as low as Sanford, but by no means can compare to Palin! She is no quitter, she is just beginning!! I think she could, if she wanted to, have the last laugh on him!!

Others have answered this koolaid drinker! To compare this scumbag to an admitted cheater is one thing but to compare him to Palin is outrageous! Show me the link where she cheated. Cheating is the same thing as lying! Stepping down as a Governor is not in the same realm!

Who cares. 50% of liberal and conservative marriages combined involve adultery and divorce.

Let me know when Jay Leno gets caught.

Is that really the first comparison that comes to mind?

Having an affair... It's just like raping a 13 year old!

Having an affair is like lying to your mate. Raping a 13 y/o, only Polanski can tell you what it is like. But for me, as a parent, life in prison!

You are totally leaving out a vital difference.

Dude had sex with his staff. That's not just adultery. That's a boss forcing sex on a girl who works for him. That's sexual harassment.

I don't care if she says she was willing and I don't care if it was cheating on a wife, it's still unprofessional as Hell and probably criminal. A boss should not be engaging in sexual relations with people he signs paychecks for.

The extortion ain't nothin' compared to what his jilted wife can get out of him now. She can boil every last stinkin' cent out of him because he admitted to cheating on her on national TV.

This isn't just about cheating, this is about abuse of authority. This creep used his position to force sexual favors out of employees. You can't dismiss that as a little bit of adultery, that's gross criminal misbehavior.

How do you know it was not the females that did the running? I am not sure where you get the criminal charges from, I have no doubt that every female was very willing. When it comes down to it whenever you get men and women together sex rears it head. And yes it does not matter where it is men and women will get together to bump heads whether they are married or not.

Personally I think the guy is a class a creep and hearing his sycophantic audience laughing at him regarding this subject was a bit hard to take. He obviously could murder someone and his audience would laugh it up.

I feel sorry for his wife but for all we know they could be swingers and she could have been getting off on hearing his exploits.

When it comes down to it I suppose this is a bit of a non story. Yes I see the irony of that statement.

Doesn't matter, he was the guy in charge so he bears all responsibility for his evil actions concerning sexual harassment in the workplace.

http://www.eeoc.gov/types/sexual_harassment.html

Title VII, United States Code, Civil Rights Act, 29 C.F.R. Part 1604.11

It is a FEDERAL OFFENSE for employers with 15 or more employees to seek sexual favors from or grant promotion opportunities based on sexual behavior.

David Letterman should be going to prison with his sex freak pal Roman Polanski.

I don't really care if he's a "swinger" or not, he can't be having sex with employees. That's a civil rights act violation and nobody should ever get away with a civil rights act violation. Especially not a white guy.

The hypocrisy is massive, but it's a non-story to me. I'm used to hearing about celebrity hypocrites who blast conservatives yet do the same things themselves.

Same story just a different day.

Yeah... Except that O'Reilly was not having sex with women on his staff.

Dude had sex with his staff. That's not just adultery. That's a boss forcing sex on a girl who works for him. That's sexual harassment.Well, Gene it COULD be sexual harassment --- that is, if he were sued. But there is no law against having sex with co-workers no matter what their position (no pun intended). When a boss has sex, or even makes sexual advances towards an employee, the boss runs the risk of such a lawsuit. That is why work and sex usually don't mix.

Since Dave is not being sued, I don't see this as an issue.

Having an affair is like lying to your mate. Raping a 13 y/o, only Polanski can tell you what it is like. But for me, as a parent, life in prison! There are a lot of dirty old men who are just itchin' to have sex with 13 year old girls. In the hispanic community this is relatively common (pregnancies and all). The SMART people don't do it. The dumbos do. I don't care if it's legal in other countries. Roman could have gone there. He had the bucks.
