Here's a teaser trailer of the 2010 "re-imaging" of A Nightmare on Elm Street. It looks creepy. Jackie Earle Haley will play Freddy Kruger. I can't wait to see it on April 30th. :)

i swear they'll be remaking 'The Exorcist'... just watch.

btw, 'The Exorcist' IS STILL the best horror movie of all time. i don't care what anyone says, but it hasn't been matched by any other horror movie, new or remade.

one horror movie i would like to see is a movie about this villain called Rusty Nail from the movie Joyride as an anti-social, psychotic trucker serial killer. I swear I thought that movie would have some kind of follow-up. I thought Rusty Nail would make for a good psychopathic serial killer concept who is also a trucker, but he is more cunning and ingenious.

I like how the movie shrouds this character in mystery. even we don't get to see his face and when we're about too, his face is blurred. all we know about him is that he is large, he gets ticked off easily and when he does, even the slightest of pranks on him will get you killed and tortured by him. so we know he's antisocial, a psychopath, a killer and is a trucker. as mentioned, he is smart, cunning, and ingenious and will use his truck to terrorize his victims.

What are they going to remake when there's nothing left to remake?

Remake it again!

I don't care much for this. Hopefully the guy looks at least a little bit like Robert Englund. It's one thing to remake horror characters that wear a mask. Robert Englund is recognizable even in the Freddy makeup.

Hard to remake such a movie; the first one was perfect and Robert Englund was ideal for the part. So far the trailer is not doing it for me, may be it will be better than it is showing.

Why can't they remake a horror film that was terrible with a better script for a change?

Looks like a shot-for-shot remake of a classic movie that's barely 25 years old. Unnecessary.

I'll probably see it though. :(
