In recent months the media announced far and wide that an historic "missing link" had been found in the form of a fossil named "Ida." While the media were uncritically parroting sensational claims about Ida, even some evolutionists--though certainly not all--felt compelled to speak up about the hype and to point out that Ida is no missing link.

Of course, this is the not the first time the "scientific community" has been caught peddling phony missing links.

I know of no reputable scientist that has ever claimed that Ida was the "Missing Link". In fact, the very term is one that science and scientists do not use......

You're jumping on an admittedly hyper-extensive media coverage and exaggeration and using it to claim that the "scientific community" is "peddling" phony missing links?
Too bad that Biggles is correct in stating that the term "missing link" is a public misconception of Evolutionary theory!
So who are you really attacking here, scientists or the media?

Which "evolutionists" are calling the fossil a "missing link" ( a term not traditionally used in science)?
