'Fearless Vampire Killer' Arrested!

Director Roman Polanski and star of the 1968 classic movie 'The Fearless Vampire Killers' was arrested by Swiss police for possible extradition to the United States for having sex in 1977 with a 13-year-old girl.


Apparently Statute of Limitations does not apply in such cases?

Ironically he was flying in to the Zurich Film Festival to receive a Life Time Achievement award when he was apprehended.

It's a pretty disgusting crime, he was 44 at the time he raped and sodomized a 13-year-old girl. For this crime he only served 42 days????

Who in the heck thinks 42 days is enough of a sentence for child molestation? This ain't like shoplifting, this is a hardcore criminal act of raping a child.

I think the guy should be serving a lot more than a crummy six weeks in jail for that one.
