What are some of the good books out there that give a broad overview of the history of the united states?
I actually read The PEople's History and the socialist pig zinn made me wanna vomit.

Here's is good book club for anyone interested. For $5.95 you can get the two-volume set The Debate on the Constitution and Thomas Jefferson: Writings.

There's no obligation to but any other books, however they do have a good selection of titles and the books are very well made.
