View Full Version : 'We Were Rapists, We Were Dirt,' Man Falsely Accused of Gang-Rape Says

This story really bothers me.
What kind of woman has voluntary sex in a bathroom with four guys? And than the falsely accuses them of rape to save face with her boyfriend?
While the guys who had sex with her apparently did not rape her, I have to wonder about the 4 guys who apparently participated in a group sex with one woman in a bathroom. They are as wacked as she is.

For a while, Stalin Felipe thought his life was over.
Falsely accused by a college freshman of being one of five men who she said tied her down and gang-raped her at Hofstra University in New York, Felipe was being held on half a million dollars bail and facing countless years behind bars if convicted of a heinous crime he knew he didn't commit.
Felipe, 19, is in the clear now, as are the four other men Danmell Ndonye, an 18-year-old student, said had raped her in a dorm at the university's Hempstead campus on Long Island.

What really bothers me about it is that cases like this make it harder for victims of real rape.

I heard about this earlier briefly, read the article just now, there is a special place in hell for false accusers in my opinion, but there are some questions unanswered here?

There was a time when you could not get a rape conviction in NYS without a witness.
Without a witness the best a DA could get was criminal batterment.
That was ridiculous but the present rape shield law has swung the pedulum too far the other way.
If this woman does the same thing next year and does not recant, this case can not be used as evidence by whomsoever she accuses.

agreed..
I do wonder if she was no drugs when she did it. Than afterwards, once not high, realized how stupid she'd been.
Once she did that she should have just dumped her boyfriend instead of lied.

So she couldn't just lie to her bf [not that i'm condoning it] and say she was raped, she had to lie to all of America? Why wouldnt you just lie to keep out of trouble with the bf and leave it at that. Thats what i don't get about these females.

That's because a traditional woman would not have gotten herself into this situation to begin with.

It doesn't work that way because the boyfriend might want some tests. Is she pregnant? Herpes? HPV? AIDS? Clap? If BF goes to the doc infected then she needs a story. You can't really lie too long after the fact. BF tests positive for Herpes five months down the road and GF says "oh, yeah, I forgot to tell you about the rape" won't hold a lot of water.

I know. What I'm saying is, why cant she(and liars) just tell their SO, and leave it at that, why drag the law into it!? Lying about rape is bad enough, but taking it to the law is 10x worse.

Someone had a cell phone, took a video of the gang bang and was circulating the video. From what I read, that's why she started the lie of the rape. so she could not say that she did not know who was at the gang bang... it was on the video. Of course in the end the video showed that her fabrication of being tied up and forced was a lie. she was apparently a very willing participant.
