It was the season premiere of Survivor: Samoa.

The two tribes, Foa Foa and Galu, arrived to Samoa.

Based on first impressions, each tribe have to select team leaders. The Foa Foa tribe selected Mick while the Galo tribe picked Russell. Then, Jeff Probst asked each leader to pick a person they think would the best swimmer, strongest, most agile, and smartest for the Reward competition. Russell from Galu selected John, Russell, Marissa and Liz while Mick picked Jason, Eric, Yasmin, and Shambo.

The challenge is for the swimmer to swim to retrieve a key, then the strongest carried the logs, the most agile have to move the keys through a robe while on a beam, and finally the smartest have to solve the puzzle. The tribe who finished the puzzle wins flint. In the end, Foa Foa wins reward.

Over at the Galu tribe, the men disagreed with John over the construction of the site.

At the Foa Foa tribe, we are introduced to the evil Russell, who I will call The Devil. He made a secret alliance with the three women on his tribe that he called the "dumb-ass alliance." He also made an alliance with Betsy, but she doesn't trust him. Then, at the camp site, he made up a story of being a firefighter during Hurricane Katrina and rescuing a dog. In reality, he's a multi-millionaire from Texas. He want to prove how easy to win this game by controlling and manipulating the people by pouring the water out of their canteens and burning their socks. The tribe was thirsty and worrying about the heat.

In the Immunity Challenge, the tribes have to race through a course while carrying rope and climbing obstacles. Then, they have to pull crates containing puzzle pieces and solve it to win immunity. In the end, Galu won.

Some of the Foa Foa tribe wants Ashley gone because they viewed her as a weaker player. However, when Marisa questioned his loyalty, Russell felt threaten and began a campaign to get rid of her.

Over at Tribal Council, Ashley wonders why some viewed her as a weaker player since she's physically fit. Russell talked about being threaten by Marisa, but she disagreed.

In the end, Marisa was the first contestant voted out.

I missed a lot of the show, but I cannot figure out how Russell got away with emptying the canteens and burning the socks. It's not like he was particularly stealthy about it.

And you are right about him being the Devil. I expect when his tribe wakes up to his strategy they will not vote him off... they will drive a steak through his heart.

I'm very disappointed that they didn't play the theme song last night. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, but I look forward to the theme song for each new season.

It was a good episode of Survivor: Samoa.

At the Foa Foa tribe, Russell the Devil took credit of getting Marisa's eviction and planned to get rid of Betsy because she doesn't trust him. Meanwhile, he and Jaison discussed about forming an alliance with each other. He also told him that he will search the Immunity Idol and plans to share the info with him. Russell was searching under the tree to find the idol with the other tribemates watching him and found it. Of course, he hid it.

Over at the Galu tribe, Yasmin was complaining about the surroundings because she isn't used to it.

The Reward/Immunity Challenge had the contestants to play a version of Australian football where they tried to get the ball and throw it to their shooters. Then, the shooters tried to shot the ball to the opponent's territory to score a point. The first team to score three points wins. The play was so physical that Jeff Probst gave a warning that any head-butting and fake choking will result for a player to be thrown out. Then, Ben was thrown out because he tripped someone. In the end, Galu wins immunity and fishing gear. Also, Russell from Galu had to pick someone from his tribe to go with Foa Foa to tribal council and return back to give some info. He decided to send Yasmin. Meanwhile, Mike gets medical attention because of shortness of breath and low-blood pressure. The doctor ruled that he must leave the game.

At Galu, Shambo tried to find fish but didn't find any, much to the dismay to her fellow tribemates.

Back at the Foa Foa tribe, Yasmin alienated the tribe because saying that she wants to help them because she wants a fair fight and saying that it's like taking candy from a baby. Then, she and Ben argued about him tackling her in the game. The tribe is tired of the arguing as well as Ben's late night chopping. Some of them wants Ben gone, but others want Betsy gone because of her age. Russell wants to keep Ben because he would distract the tribe's anger away from him.

Yasmin read the clue about the location for the hidden Immunity Idol.

At tribal council, Ben said that the trip was on purpose and sid that he's an upfront person.

In the end, Betsy was voted out. That's sucks.

It was a good episode of Survivor: Samoa.

After tribal council, Jaison wants Ben gone, mainly because of the comments he made about Yasmin being ghetto trash. Meanwhile, Russell the devil believed that he's the only person playing the game. He wants Ben to stay in the game to deflect any attention from him and help win challenges. After getting no answer from Ashley about who to vote off, he plans to get rid of her by planting a clever lie to Ben about Ashley campaigning to get rid of him. Ben later confront poor old Ashley about this, and she denied it.

Over at the Galu tribe, things were happy and peaceful. Some of the members were doing yoga. Everyone was happy about this except for Shambo, who believed that they should be searching for food and doing campwork first. She couldn't relate to the 90210 crowd.

The Immunity Challenge had the tribes to go to the waters to retrieve crates while facing defenders. After they got the crates, they have to stack them with no back-to-back colors on either sides. In the end, Galu wins immunity again. The tribe's reward was comfort of pillows and blankets, but Russell can trade it for function of fishing gears, etc. Russell decided to stick to comfort because he wants to please the women. Also, he sends Shambo to the Foa Foa tribe to observe.

At the Foa Foa tribe, Shambo greeted the members and can relate to them. Meanwhile, she received the clue for the hidden Immunity Idol to no avail. Meanwhile, Jaison said that he would quit if Ben stays in the game. Russell campaigned to get rid of Ashley to the rest of the tribe.

At tribal council, fireworks exploded between Ben and Jaison over his comment about Yasmin. They went back and forth, and it was quite entertaining.

In the end, Ben was voted out.

It was a good episode of Survivor: Samoa.

After an emotional tribal council, Jaison said that going of Survivor was the worst decision he made in his life because of his dealings with Ben. After forcing to vote out Ben, Russell wants Jaison gone because he thought he was a quitter.

Over at the Galu tribe, Shambo returns after a visit to the Foa Foa tribe and wasn't happy because she felt so out of place there. She shared clues about the hidden Immunity idol to Erik, and he went searching for it at camp. He eventually found it in the tree, but Jon caught Erik searching for it.

The two tribes got tree mail instructing them to have their leader go with one man and one woman. For Galu, it was Russell, Shambo, and Dave. For Foa Foa, it was Mick, Russell the Devil, and Natalie.

When the teams arrived for the challenge, there was no Jeff Probst as they were all alone. They learned that they have to throw balls to a flag, and the team closest to the ball wins chicken. In the end, Galu wins again.

Shambo was in charge in looking at the chickens, but they got away. She and Erik were chasing them. Meanwhile, Kelly was sick and tired about Yasmin's lack of work at the tribe.

While at F.F., Russell tried to form an alliance with Natalie because he thinks she can take him to the Final Two.

The Immunity Challenge had Jeff back as the teams have to race through a net run to get boxes and stack them. After they finished, they have to race another net run and stack another set of boxes. First team finishes wins. For the first time, Foa Foa wins.

Russell from Galu blamed Monica for the loss and wants her gone. However, others wanted Yasmin gone.

At tribal council, Yasmin defended herself over charges of laziness and threw Monica under the bus. But, in the end, Yasmin was voted out.

It was a good episode of Survivor Samoa.

After tribal council, Monica was upset that Shambo voted her out, and she wants her gone.

After the tribes got the tree mail about the upcoming Reward Challenge, Russell the Devil and Liz on the Foa Foa tribe were talking, and Liz said that Ashley could be a problem in the food-eating challenge. Russell doesn't liked the fact that Liz is playing mind games and felt that he should be the only one playing mind games in his tribe.

The Reward Challenge had one contestant from each tribe to spin, and the two balls landed on two ingredients that will be mixed in a blender to make a delicious slurpee. For each slurpee finished, one point is rewarded. The team will the most points will win a Survivor barbeque and sends one member to the opposing tribe and missed the reward.

After the challenge was tied, Galu won after Ashley from F.F. didn't finished. Russell sends Shambo to F.F., in part because she lost the chickens. Nt surprisingly, she was ****ed.

At Galu, Russell was having problems starting a fire, and he and Dave were having words. Eventually, Dave started the fire. Ashley felt bad for costing her tribe the challenge, but Natalie comforted her. Meanwhile, Shambo shared the clues to the hidden Immunity Idol. However, LIz suspected the Russell had the idol.

Meanwhile, it was pouring raining on Samoa continuously.

The Immunity Challenge have one man and one woman from each tribe to hold a net holding coconuts while members of the opposing team throw them into the nets. In the end, F.F. wins.

It was still raining at camp, so the tribe have to move inside the hut and can't strategizes.

At tribal council, Ashely said that she trusted Natalie and Russell the devil. Meanwhile, Liz said she trusted everyone.

In the end, Ashley was voted out.

It was a good episode of Survivor: Samoa.

It was still pouring raining as the members of both tribes were cramped inside.

Over at the Foa Foa tribe, Russell the devil was complaining about how his tribemates were trying to keep themselves dry instead of working.

Over at the Galu tribe, some of the members were upset that Russell didn't picked the mats in a previous Reward Challenge. Russell did all of the ork around the camp.

The Reward Challenge had one member of each tribe to be in a sphere while two members were blindfolded and roll the m sphere in a maze. Then, after reaching the end, two more blindfolded members must maneuver the maze to move the ball to the end. Winner will get pizza. Both tribes will be in tribal council to vote someone off, but the winning tribe will get to eat pizza while watching the other tribe's council.

When the tribes were doing the maze, Russell from Galu was having problems and looked exhausted. He fainted down, and Jeff Probst halted the challenge as he called the medical team to attend him. After both tribes are gone, the medical team said that he shouldn't continue the game. Jeff agreed, but Russell was stubborn. But, he did agreed to leave the show.

Over at Galu, Shambo was campaigning to stay in camp, but Monica reminded that she put her name down twice. Meanwhile, the rest of the tribe want Monica gone because she's weak on challenges.

Both tribes went on tribal council together. Jeff told them about Russell leaving the show because of his medical problems. The F.F. tribe believe they had a moral victory in the last challenge while the Galu tribe believed that they're still a strong tribe.

As a result of Russell's leaving as well as no winner in the last challenge, they will be no tribal council. There were some mixed reactions from the two tribes.

It was a good episode of Survivor: Samoa.

Finally, the raining had stopped.

At the Galu tribe, the men want Shambo on their side and decided to elect her chief.

The Reward Challenge have the tribes play a memory game where they have to match two same items. For each matched item, the tribe gets a point. However, the leader can keep the item matched but forfeit a point. The winning tribe will get a sailboat ride and lunch as well as sending one member to the opposing tribe to spy. In the end, Galu wins. Shambo sends Laura to Foa Foa, and she was upset.

Over at Foa Foa, Laura and Russell talked about forming an alliance to bring them and Natalie to the Final Three. Laura and Natalie were talking while Liz was trying to build a fire, much to the dismay to Liz. She was annoyed by their constant chattering.

The Immunity Challenge have the tribes to paddle to collect a set of fish puzzle pieces and solve a puzzle. The F.F. tribe left the Leadership necklace at the site hoping that it would get rid of the jinx that hovered over them. It didn't worked since Galu won again.

Russell was mad with Jaison because of his actions over at the Challenge. However, he also doesn't trust Liz.

At tribal council, Liz was voted out.

It was a good episode of Survivor: Samoa.

The tow tribes finally merged and moved to the old Galu tribe site. The members talked to the other members as they gauged the opposing tribes' weakness. Russell believed that the old Foa Foa tribe are more together than the Galu tribe He tried to convince Laura to take him to the top 7 by offering her his Immunity Idol if one member of her tribe gets voted out first, but she reused by saying she's in charge. Then, he made the same offer to Monica and John in hoping to get rid of Laura.

The first Immunity Challenge as one tribe, which they called Aiga, was Survivor's version of Tee-Ball, where each member hits a ball to land on a section containing a number. Each number represents the points each member will have. The one with the highest point wins. However, there are two Immunity Idols at stake: one man and one woman.

In the end, John and Laura won immunity. This win threw a huge monkey wretch to Russell's plans to get rid of Laura. The tribe was scrambling to find out who to vote out. Erik wants Monica out while Jaison and Kelly wants Erik out. Also, Erik wants Russell to flush out his Immunity Idol so that they could vote him out in the next council.

At tribal council, before Jeff announce the vote, Russell played the Idol. In the end, Erik was voted out and became the first member of the jury.

It was a good episode of Survivor: Samoa.

After the last tribal council, Russell was worried that he will be targeted because he used his immunity idol. Laura said that he made a dumb move.

At camp, Natalie was hungry and spotted a rat. So, she hit it with a stick and rock. Then, she said that she's sorry. The rest of the tribe were impressed about a Southern girl like Natalie can have a killer instinct. Meanwhile, Russell was desperately looking for the second idol.

The Reward Challenge have the tribe to be split up to two teams of five and collect poles holding white and black coconuts. Then, they must arrange them to form a four-digit number with the white coconuts. Then, one blindfolded member have to get the same number by feeling them on the rolling deck. Natalie didn't participate in the challenge but decided to support the Yellow team hoping that they will win and share the reward. The reward is a trip to a rock slide and a picnic. In the end, the Purple team of Monica, Shambo, Dave, Kelly, and John.

During the picnic, the members received a clue for the hidden Idol. They decide to share it among Galu members.

However, back at the camp site, Russell found the idol. He told Shambo about it, and they want Laura gone.

The Immunity Challenge had the members have to grab two bags of puzzle pieces with hooks, and the first three members get to place the pieces on the board. For each piece that were placed, another piece fell. In the end, Laura won immunity. Once again, she threw a monkey wrench on Russell's plan.

Back at Aiga camp, Russell told Jaison about it, and he told the rest of the old Foa Foa tribe. Meanwhile, the members of the Galu tribe tried to figure out a back-up plan if Russell found the second idol.

At tribal council, the old Galu tribe said that they wanted to get rid of Erik because he cast a negative energy, and Erik looked ****ed while on the jury.

Russell played the idol, and all of the votes against him won't be counted. In the end, Kelly was eliminated. The Immunity Idol will be hidden and back in play.

The shocked look on the faces of those from the former Galu tribe were priceless. I also enjoyed Erik's reaction when he saw what was happening at tribal council. I think the show is just getting interesting. I'm pretty sure that Shambo will switch sides and go with the former Foa Foa members, thus making it 5 against 5.

Ditto... he is proving to be one of the most resourceful players ever. I fear his days are numbered unless he wins the next immunity and/or someone besides Shambo come over to the Foa Foa four. It is extremely unlikely that he will find the next immunity idol. Those Galu guys are never going to let him be alone again.

I have been a fan of this show from the very beginning when gay Richard Hatch formed the unlikely alliance with old fashioned straight Rudy to win the million. I think this was the best tribal council I have seen. Like you, I was literally on the edge of my seat.

And never have I seen the power shift so suddenly; from a 6-4 advantage by one former tribe to 6-3 in the other tribes favor. Remarkable. I started out this season hoping Russel would "get gone" soon; now I am rooting for him to win. ;)

It was a great episode of Survivor: Samoa.

After the last tribal council, Russell was all giddy and proud of himself after blindsiding Kelly. Shambo said that Kelly said that he ruined everything. Laura was shocked that Russell used the second immunity idol.

Russell began to search for the third idol that is hidden. Shambo wants Laura out and referred her as a "snake." She tried to convince John to be the sixth vote to get rid of her, but he's undecided.

The Reward Challenge have the tribe to be divided into teams of two where one from each team must lie on a cradle and collect 15 flags and place them in the right holes while the remaining teammates maneuver it by pulling ropes. The prize is a trip to a location and see the waterfalls and have a picnic. Also, the winning team will get a Palm Pre to take pictures and receive clues for the hidden immunity idol. Russell's eyes lit up when he heard that. In the end, the purple team of Russell, Shambo, Laura, Natalie, and Dave won the prize.

At the waterfalls, the team gets the clue that the idol is hidden somewhere near rocks with moss.

BTW, had anyone noticed how good Natalie looked? :)

Back at camp, Mick and Jaison tried to convince Monica that Shambo aligns with the other tribe.

Everybody were scrambling to find the hidden immunity idol but, once again, Russell had found it for THE THIRD TIME!!!! You can't get rid of this guy!!!!

The immunity Challenge is divided into two parts: members have one chance to throw a rock to plates of the same color that were closely bunched together. For each plate broken, the member will get the same number of spears. The second part had the ones with spears to throw at a target. The one closest to the Bull's Eye wins. In the end, Mick wins immunity.

Back at camp, the situation have more twists than an episode of Lost. Shambo wants Laura out period. Monica tried to get rid of Natalie by using John as a pawn. Of course, John was ****ed. Russell convinced him to vote for Natalie in the first round of votes and change his vote to Laura. If there's a tie after two rounds, the tiebreaker is to pick stones, and the contestant with a different color stone is eliminated.

At tribal council, Jeff Probst is amazing that John is willing to go to the tiebreaker. After the first round of voting, Natalie and Laura were tied. After the second round, as expected, Jon switched his vote, and Laura is eliminated.
