Mary Travers, member of the Folk music trio Peter, Paul and Mary died today. She had been battling leukemia for several years. She was 72.

I loved listening to Peter, Paul, and Mary songs. She will be missed very much.

My daddy loved PP&M so I grew up listening to them.
This is sad. RIP Mary.

:grumps:: NOw I have to go dig up my 2 disc Peter Paul and Mary collection. Might just have to watch the PBS video I got when I was a teenager. :(

It's so sad to see so many who have brought good things to our lives pass on.
When I was in high school in the late 1960's PP&M used to stay at the hotel I worked at. I was the hostest in the restaurant. So I got to speak with them many times. I'll remember them that way... young.. at the hight of their popularity.
