Dear Readers,
I was looking through the new issue of Newsweek and saw something that almost made me throw the magazine across the room. In it is an article entitled "See Baby Discriminate".Near the end of the article, the writer-not a quote, states"It's horrifying to imagine kids being "proud to be white."WHY the double standard? Im PROUD of my ancestors and their contributions..how come noone calls out Newsweek on this? If TIME magazine said that, but about black pride among black kids-theyd be burnt down.Im not racist by any means, but I am sick and tired of the hypocrisy.Please bring this to the attention of others.Thank you.

I dropped my subscription to Newsweek about two years (or more...) ago because of articles just like this.

Time too.

They need to follow it up with a piece about the racism of kids raised to be proud of being black, hispanic, asian, (incert ethnicity here).

Instead they will probably run another article calling a teenager hateful for being proud to be heterosexual.

Was kinda hoping more people saw this...or just go to newsweek.com and type in See Baby Discriminate and go to the 5th page....I wish at least someone on television(doesnt matter who) would call Newsweek on this crap....

I didn't know that Rush had brought up something about Newsweek and racism, although he apparently didn't get to those statements..and i wanna keep redoing this so itll stay on the first page :)

forgot that it also says "White children should be made to feel guilty for alleged wrongdoings by their race, to increase positive attitudes towards blacks." AND
"Black children need to be coached on “ethnic pride” to pump them up and make them more likely to succeed in life."
crazy..........
I know quite a a few black guys that can be motivated by a simple 'oorah'...
