We were told on this board that the speech was a "HOMERUN"!!!!

There was a thread with that title.

Polls go up, polls go down...in the end the only thing that matters is the overall trend.

It may have been a home run, just not a compelling argument.

Kind of like those 500 foot homeruns hit in..............batting practice. Pretty cool to watch, but insignificant.

Dick Morris said it on hannity. It will get a short bounce, then end up right back where it was before.

Pretty much.

I suspect the American public is getting tired of being short changed with all this ho……hype.

Just what America needs more of....Some guy stuck-on-stupid-campaign-mode bleeting out to the sheeple: "Fired up? Ready to go?"

Let's say, for argument's sake, it was a homerun. 1 homerun with nobody on base does not win the game. So in that case it was a FAIL.

It is just Rasmussen, as seems to be a pattern they vary from most others.
But don't worry, Obama's offensive is just starting, even Rasmussen will come around.

Health care reform will pass.

Sure, let the dems pass it.........fine with me, then the conservatives can kill it when they storm the house in 2010 before it goes into affect in 2013.

Without a majority?
No way.
Let alone over coming a presidential veto of such a plan.
