Is that a finer or rougher weave than regular muslin? :)
I think he was making a joke -- since the quote says "the great satin" (as opposed to Satan)... it's textile humor.

Hoobee was riffing on dave's misspelling. Hoses rather than noses. Hose as in pantyhose...
