I have asked ,for clarification, so it is permissible to start a thread that is nothing more than a derogatory joke? I have seen threads removed for lots of reasons and i´m surprised to see this one that has nothing to say politically and is just a slam on the South?

Vic. Goodlife and I are both in the south. The DEEP south, Mississippi and Louisiana respectively. Seriously, develop a sense of humor. It's just not that serious. Furthermore, the joke was told by a Conservative.

I´m asking you to give me an answer that you are just sidestepping. Your refusal to answer me makes me feel like i´m at a democrat townhall meeting and am being treated in the same flippant manner and you are getting angry with me just like the democrat leaders get mad at people who ask questions. Now my question is:

Is it permissible to start threads on the washington politics forum that are just derogatory jokes?

Will you answer that question? I just want to know what the rules are.

Making things personal and unpleasant... that's no good.


And matters that need moderating are done so on a case by case basis.

If you see a thread that looks like trouble, post a link to the thread in the mod forum, and a mod will get around to it, and make a decision. If it's a no foul... then it's a no foul. Either try to enjoy it, or stay away.

If you're worried about what you can get away with... use some common sense. If you start a thread and it gets deleted, or a post gets deleted... be thankful you weren't banned. If you're given a time out... be thankful you weren't banned.

Try to let your discussions be meaningful... try to let fun threads (even if they seem mean) not get personal... and you should be fine.

thank you for your concern but i´m looking for an OFFICIAL answer from a moderator. It looks like a double standard is going on here TODAY at the forum. Maybe you can get the moderator´s attention and have them answer the question in my post no. 10.It is APPALLING that moderators will not answer a question about forum rules and protocol !!!
