I don't play much video games anymore. But I was watching someone playing it on Justin.tv and it looks pretty cool. Amazing graphics.

I've always thought Guitar Hero was for tweens and teens, however, I am interested in the Beatles version simply because I am a lifelong fan. I just might get this one.

When they do a Pink Floyd Rock Band or Guitar Hero, I'll get it.

I'm too smart to make a fool of myself by pretending to play guitar (or drums) to rock songs, but my daughter and her boyfriend can hardly wait for this one.

Not even going try. Much as I love the Beatles I'm worthless when it comes to games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero.

Rock Band always seemed odd to me. Wouldn't the time spent learning to be good at the game be better spent actually learning how to play guitar? (And more fulfilling in the long run?)

Besides "blackbird" and "while my guitar gently weeps" there's not many challenging Beatles songs...
I agree with Snags. Pick up a real guitar and practice real music... the 5-button finger hop game may improve your dexterity, but it won't make you a musician.

I played guitar hero for about a week. My buddy lent it to me. It was fun but got boring pretty quick. It's a game. It really does not come close to even trying to be a guitar simulation. It's a memory and dexterity game period. As for Beatles rock band, pretty much could give a crap. I love the Beatles. I think the graphics on the commercial are cheesy. And like I said, the game gets old quick and Beatles songs aren't gonna change that for me.

The reason it's so expensive- it doesn't come with a drumkit. They just cloned Ringo and sold him with each unit.
Peace and love, peace and love.

Besides the few people that take the game all too seriously most people play it have fun. I don't see the reason why I should pick up a real guitar instead of playing a game when having is fun is my goal.

It's fun because there isn't much to learn. You can get pretty good at it in a couple of hours.
