We Got HoodWinked Again

Obama accomplished his political goals with his "Speech to the Students". This guy is so slick even Bill has relinquished the title to him.

Obama knew the kids could care less about any political content of his speech. In fact, he probably knows that the kids could care less about anything he had to say.

But, he did use the innocent students to once again drive a wedge between the people he is supposed to be leading and uniting.

First, it was announced that he would speak to the students, with no hint as to what the content would be. He knew this would cause people to question his agenda. Then, the Whitehouse puts out a controversial "lesson plan" which further caused a rift between the left and right.

Then they drop the lesson plan, making the right think they won a victory. He then releases the context of his speech with no political content. This gives his base the ammunition they needed to say what a wonderful leader he is.

Even more, though, he caused dicontent between schools, teachers, parents, and students. Why would he deliberitly cause these kind of issues if he knew it would cause such controversy? Because, he wanted to use the useful idiots once again to make himself look good. And we fell for it.

Why did he cause these problems for us, when there are so many other pressing issues for him to deal with? Distraction? Needed another crises to sidetrach his failing health care agenda?

We need to watch this guy, and watch him very closely.

I made the point in the other thread that it could be argued that people may question why the Right made such a fuss over this speech, which turned out to be a nice, harmless speech.

I'm not convinced the Left is smart enough to have planned this out, though.

I may have to broaden the definition of "Speecher."

So far we have:

1. It was the ORIGINAL SPEECH that was to be feared (current/working definition)
2. It was overt socialsim/indoctrinization (see Mal)
3. It was covert socialism/indoctrinization and other deception

One thing is clear. It was Obama, so it was wrong and evil.

Or perhaps it ended up being a "nice, harmless speech" *because* the Right opened a can of whoop-ass. The fact that the "lesson plans" got round-filed shows that the entire ordeal didn't go as originally planned.

he can't live up to the hype. putting yourself out there in front of the camera goes both ways. It gives you good press when things go well, but make you look like an incompetent jackass that can't get anything done, when times are bad.

I could spend the rest of my life never seeing that putz again on TV and it wouldn't bother me one bit. Then again, I have no desire to watch any liberal sack of turds politician

Obama is a master at sending subliminal messages to various groups. He was introduced by a student that used Obama's 'Yes, we can' message and he speech was pointed at those high school age students that will soon be voters.
