A new high-tech Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. Racism. And parents too dumb to raise their children.
I gotta tell you, Amy [Robach], as somebody who's covered Washington for a long time, this is one of the most ridiculous controversies I've ever seen. So far as I can tell, the biggest danger to kids in this whole thing is that a lot of the parents complaining aren't smart enough to raise them very effectively. Because if you think that a president coming into your school, kids school, and saying work hard and stay in school is a danger to kids, you've got some problems.

Then you don't understand elite liberals. They are 100% correct on every issue and so anyone who does not share their views is a retard that needs to be ruled and told what to do by the elite liberals.

It's why trying to work with them in a bipartisan fashion is a waste of time. You hear Rush trying to make this point all the time, comprimise to libs is you cave and agree with them.
On the bright side this is why the libs fail, look at healthcare, Obama's lib whackos are telling him its government healthcare or nothing, there's no middle ground to comprimise. This morning they are at it again, they told the president to forget about sending more troops to Afgan.

Yes we should burn the constitution and dismiss congress. Then Obama as the most holy of the elite libs should seize all wealth and nationalize all industry and appoint himself dictator of the USA for life. He could rule the country with czars and groups like Acorn and the people could all sit around singing kumbaya while the earth healed.

Based on your poor grasp of grammar, punctuation and usage, I'd say it says pretty bad things about rabid liberals in education. Either on the student side of the equation or the instructor side.
Maybe some liberals shouldn't be Parents (note "parents"--this is plural, no apostrophe, no possession).

That was the only channel I could get to come in at that time of day, that wsn't pixelated, without audio and totally useless.
Well, that and there was also the channel playing Sesame Street in Spanish.

My favorite hypocrisy:
ANDREA MITCHELL: Other presidents have faced opposition. But experts say it's now more organized, from cable television to blogs, to Twitter. It's gone viral.
MITCHELL: A partisan echo chamber making it much harder for any president to make his voice heard.
Andrea Mitchell completely ignores far-left echo chambers such as HuffPo & Daily Kos, totally omits mention of all the far-left chat forums, and she ignorantly overlooks the FACT that one of the biggest contributions to Obama's election was how the internet & modern technology was efficiently used as a campaign tool.
What a moron.

I can't say I'm surprised. The entire platform of the Socialist Democrat Party is based on their contempt for their fellow Americans, glossed over in platitudes and pledges about saving mankind and saving the Earth. At the bottom line, they don't believe we have the intellectual wherewithal to take care of ourselves, but rather, need Big Brother looking out for us. And it's an easy enough sale to their elitist supporters, because it appeals to the ego. ie. "YOU are the smart one who can see clearly the needs of the poor unwashed masses".
Take the "I Pledge" video, where we see a bunch of celebrity elitists stroking their own egos, yammering on about all the good works they plan to do, until by the end, they're chanting together in a way that's quite frankly "Rosemary's Baby" creepy...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51kAw4OTlA0
It's always a matter of the poor unnamed "little guy" with these people. I mean, how often do we see posts here at Hannity which argue the benefit of social programs where the poster says essentially, "Yeah, I've got what I need... but what about all these other poor little guys who don't?" :boohoo:
Not to dismiss altruism altogether, but there's a hidden emotional pay-off here, a meal for the ego, that's clearly visible.
And that's okay, really. We all do it to some extent. Altruism tends to lift our spirits and make us feel like there's a little more meaning to our lives. It's when generosity starts demanding authoritarian policy, when it becomes controlling and unresponsive to personal liberty that we've crossed the boundary into sickness.
Take this "top ten" list of quotes from Science Czar, John Holdren:
http://michellemalkin.com/2009/09/02/reminder-the-population-control-freak-the-perv-tonight-on-cbs/
Now, we've probably all seen a quote here and a quote there from this guy. But when you get them altogether, we're talking eye-popping crazy.
This guy makes Van Jones look like a piker. Van Jones is only a radical ideologue. Holdren, on the other hand, looks like a guy who needs a long stint at the whacky academy.
The common ground here is that all these folks... running the gauntlet from the merely misguided altruist to those whose sanity is frankly questionable.... set themselves above us as benevolent keepers of the common good. They feed their egos at our expense, believing that their intellect, their compassion, their generosity, is somehow superior to ours. And this can be defined by no term other than "elitist". They are ABOVE and we poor peons are BELOW.

That's pretty funny.
I do feel sorry for the few kids who will have to answer the question "Where are you going?" from their peers when the President's talk is about to begin, and will have to glumly answer "My parents are freaks. They won't let me stay and watch."

Who cares how democrats feel. Its obvious the democrats hate their children and grandchildren by how eager they are to mortgage their futures to appease their gluttony for massive power.

Always was part of the plan:
Abolition of Private Property.
Heavy Progressive Income Tax.
Abolition of Rights of Inheritance.
Confiscation of Property Rights.

Government Ownership of Factories and Agriculture.
Government Control of Labor.
Corporate Farms and Regional Planning.
Government Control of Education.

No, no, no. You all miss the point!
Its not that you're too stupid to raise your own children (although you are), its that the children don't belong to you, silly; they belong to the State.
That's the justification for it, true. But if they didn't think we were all a bunch of knuckle-dragging morons underneath it all, there wouldn't be any need for state-ownership of our children.
You're right that state-control is the goal though. Otherwise, we wouldn't be seeing countless threads with hundreds of rabid posts from statists with their drawers in a bunch. Hell, the larger majority of them don't even HAVE children, yet they present themselves as self-proclaimed experts on child-rearing.
It's their inability to control people which has them frustrated The more you buck their usurped moral authority, the more the mask slips.

Problem is rate of fire per solution and attrition per friend.
A thousand friends (with less ammo each) is better than a hundred with lots. Tens of thousands are better yet.

On another forum that I go to there's a retired Marine who, as a lawyer, has recently entered the Reserves as a JAG officer. They wouldn't let him remain a Sergeant though. :D

i will bet you he was too educated to remain a sergeant!
thats speaks for most of our military.
i had 20 guys, half were attending college.
im talking airmen, lowest ranking guys, kids, attending college, and STAYING in, as NCO"s.

Maybe, but most ordinary people would be little more accurate than a cartoon COBRA trooper with their weapons if it came to that.
Characters in the old GI Joe cartoon stood a better chance of getting run over by a steam boat while crossing a mountain pass than getting shot by a COBRA trooper....

You would be referencing the Roman pignorative contract called "pignus", pledging the movables to pay the debt.
http://penelope.uchicago.edu/Thayer/E/Roman/Texts/secondary/SMIGRA*/Pignus.html
"The word child is a word of purchase." No cite given.
"The creditor is required to exercise toward the subject matter the care of a good father of a family, footnote 32" 40 Corpus Juris p. 1356.
In ancient Rome the child was leased three times before being manumitted into his own authority, not leaving much reason to have warm and fuzzy feelings for mom or dad.

That's pretty funny.
I do feel sorry for the few kids who will have to answer the question "Where are you going?" from their peers when the President's talk is about to begin, and will have to glumly answer "My parents are freaks. They won't let me stay and watch."
Being the subject of negative attention is never much fun for kids.
And if kids actually knew what was best for them they would be in charge of themselves, wouldn't they? Oh wait, in a lot liberal households kids ARE in charge of themselves!

"Because if you think that a president coming into your school, kids school, and saying work hard and stay in school is a danger to kids, you've got some problems."
I have to agree.
If you ever disagree with anything that involves Obama I would be totally shocked.

Well, just remember that authoritarians want the government to raise your children. In ancient Sparta, the government took control of children when they turned 7years old. In Germany and Sweden, homeschooling has now been banned. Authoritarians want to force all children to attend government-run schools and eventually want government to take over the function of parenting from parents.
