The Alaska Department of Fish & Game disagrees with you.
Alaska is home to one species of toad, the western toad (Bufo boreas), and two species of frog, the Columbia spotted frog (Rana luteiventris) and the wood frog (Rana sylvatica). ...

Worry when it starts raining frogs.
That actually happened two years in a row where I live. One frog fell on my head from the roof after a bad storm, another frog ended up hopping near one of the animal pens (and was almost eaten). I caught them both and placed them in a pond about a 1/2 mile down the road.
They weren't tree frogs or toads, these were bullfrog babies, about two inches long.
Someone told me the winds swirled them up and then they were rained down into my yard. Then again, this person also believes in wood nymphs...

I like frogs. My mom has a couple of water gardens and they seem to like those.

Wind can lift and carry full sized pickup trucks for large distances so sweeping up frogs from bodies of water and depositing them miles away is not a surprise.
It is actually a relatively common even, but not only frogs are involved.

Wasn't it just a few years ago that reports came out about declining frog populations and how that was the precursor to all kinds of death and destruction?
Well as far as my little corner of the world is concerned, I'm overrun with them. I have to watch where I step and be careful when I cut the grass because they are everywhere.
And yes, I like frogs.

The funny thing is all their customers (hunters and fisher persons) have Bush bumper stickers!
NO! They have noooooo clue what the hell they talk about!
The only time they leave their desks is to go home to their HEMP houses! :))

If you find a King Crab while mowing your lawn you are either a victim of global warming caused ocean rise or you are witnessing evolution in action. ;)
