The Special Olympics National Games is an event held every 4 years in the Unites Sates for athletes that compete in Official Special Olympics Summer Sports! For 2010, the Games will be held in Lincoln, NE from July 18-23. A girl from our team and My Son from the Our Team were nominated to attend the games in July. If they accept, She will compete in swimming and My son will compete in Powerlifting.

I know ya'll don't know me from Pete but I'm so excited I could shout this from the mountain tops (if I could survive the drive up there)

Thanks. Cool thing about Special Olympics is that the majority of the Athletes simply love the sport and being able to participate.

If you want to see real true enjoyment of a sporting activity, go to a Special Olympic event! IMHO.
